Overview

Teen Corey Johnson learns he is a Native American the same day he is told that he may be the one. The one to save his town from a centuries old curse. A curse born from a Native American legend that involves a man-eating mountain. But Corey doubts his abilities and wonders if it is really the legend, or a grumpy, old man nicknamed Ogreson, who is making the more recent teens disappear.

About the Author

Jeanne M. Curtin is a middle child who was born in the Big Apple but raised in upstate NY, often adventuring through the woods, climbing up trees, and jumping over streams, finding her way into the creative realm. Today she transports herself into the creative realm via zip-lining, free-falling, mountain biking, kayaking and more.

Though she has a love-hate relationship with writing, she fancies juggling words. And at the end of the day, with hair pulled in every contortion, she finds a sense of satisfaction if she has created something to which a reader says, "I want to know what happens next."
