Overview

Brave Moon is a young Native American girl from the Lakota Sioux Nation. She knows what is expected of her, what is expected of all girls within the tribe. But, she does not want to conform to these ideals and dreams about being something very different. She has to find a way to make that happen; she has to tell someone about her visions. When she realizes what she must do she takes a leap of faith and intrusts her Grandfather, the tribes medicine man. But, what she learns from him will forever change her and it will question all that she knows about herself and her family. Will she be able to fullfill her destiny?
