Aspiring actress Mia Corelli works part time delivering food-truck orders in a cat suit to office workers and is mortified to learn she has to deliver lunch to handsome billionaire Max Hilton, her high school nemesis. Max launched his empire on the success of a best-selling book on how to land the hottest girl in the room. Mia's friends Kelsey and Jada dated jerks who used techniques from that book and they want justice and come up with a plan for Mia to use Max's system to wrap him around her little finger and bring him to his knees but will it work? And what happens when Max finds out the truth? Breaking the Billionaire's Rules is a funny, angsty and steamy story that will have you hooked from the first page right up to the end

Breaking the Billionaire's Rules by Annika Martin is the story of Max Hilton and Mia Corelli. Max and Mia were archenemies in school, each playing jokes on the other one. But now 10 years later Max has become very successful business man and Mia is a working actress still trying to make it. While in waiting for her break on a new acting job she is working as a sandwich delivery person but their theme is dressing in a cat custom. So wouldn't you know it Max insist that the company have Mia delivery sandwiches each day in the custom. Mia is livid about this but there is nothing she can do but do so. Mia''s friends come over for moral support and happen to bring a book Max wrote when he was young about how to land a girl. The girls quickly learn that they have been played by guys who read this book...which send Mia into strike back mode. Mia plans on using the book on Max to teach him a lesson...but that said lesson is back firing. Mia is finding out there is more to Max than she first thought...and her feelings are starting to take over. OMG I loved this book! It had everything you could want, romance, funny, strong heroine, and a hot brooding guy. Just loved it!!!

I loved breaking his rules! This is a second chance rom-com, & I love this author’s rom-coms so this one is no exception! I laughed out loud reading the first page, & it didn’t stop there. The first part of the book is in Mia’s POV which I adored, but I was waiting on Max’s POV so when it happened I was so elated! This is also a slow burn, so when Max & Mia finally kiss I rejoiced. The book really took off for me when we find out the what, how & why of what happened in high school between Mia & Max, & why Max wrote the book. When they both showed their vulnerabilities, I loved both characters even more than I did. The end made me smile so much; the whole book left me smiling! If you love a quick, fun, romantic book with characters you care about that transports you for a few hours like I do, then read this book!

OMG, this book had me giggling on page 2, and teary-eyed and full of “aww” by the end. Mia is just so much fun! And Max is her perfect foil, her counter-point, the ying to her yang. The dance they perform of thrust and parry was so fun to read, and even when the fun was surface, and the feelings came through, they still complimented each other so well. For a book that clearly had a bad guy at the beginning, and then another potential bad guy mid-way, it was such a relief to see that they were just humans. Same frailties, same mistakes made, as anyone else. And the cast of characters, they were hilarious! So fun, so funny, such comic relief, and emotional support. Friends, jilted women, co-workers, and Antonio, who could forget mentioning Antonio In other words, this book was a lot of fun, with some deep emotions, and a fantastic read while getting to Mia and Max’s happily ever after

Annika Martin’s billionaire romantic comedy series is amazing. Mia, an aspiring actress(lunch delivery girl), sets out to teach her old high school classmate a lesson by subjecting him to his own crazy pick-up Rules. The said Rules are those out-lined in The Max Hilton Playbook. When I started reading I couldn't put it down.Annika Martin is magnifysent and amazing writer.I cannot wait to read more of there books.Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book. Can't wait for the next book.

The cover drew me, but the characters made me want to stick around. Max and Mia are comedic gold. Martin kept me in stiches with her quick wit and wicked sense of humor. She's makes it hard not to love, a character that you so want to hate. The chemistry between Max and Mia is a character all it's own. From passionately volatile to temptation personified, these characters keep you on your toes and always craving more. Glad I took a chance on this delightful author.
