Wow, Kiran and Eden together is wonderful, Makes you want to keep reading about their adventures. I was sorry that the first four books had ended, so this was a spectacular surprise from Rache Higginson. In this Novella we get to be with a more matre Kiran and Eden, and share their love and emotions that only comes with time. Together they work as a united front to save their people and their kingdom, against the vile and evil Terletov. While a frustrated Eden is limited as to what Kiran will let her do, being as she carries their future children, she fights with all she has for those she loves and holds dear. They fight together! While giving Jericho the news that Olivia's sister is awake, he relays that her dearest friend Lilly is on her way back and will need her magic immediately, as soon as the plane lands. As Kiran and Eden look in on their friends Talbott and Lilly , Kiran suddenly throws himself over Eden to protect her as and exsplosion rocks the castle. They race to unite with their friends and soldiers as a confrontation with Terletov ensues. Needless to say , Kiran stands back with a smile as Eden is no longer held back, and her protective furry is unleashed

The beginning of the novella was a little slow but I quickly realized why it started that way and all I can say is EDEN IS BACK :) YAY Since the last couple stories in the series are from other perspectives we don't know much about Eden and what she is up to. As Eden became a secondary story I forgot about her passion, love, strength and confidence, but Breathless reminded me just how important Eden is in the kingdom. Eden is now pregnant with twins, and I got a glimpse into the romantic aspect of her relationship with Kiran, as well as the behind the scenes planning Kiran and her do to protect their kingdom. I loved Breathless and how it filled in the missing pieces from Relentless Warrior. I can't wit to read the next book in the series!

Kiran and Eden!!!!!! My favorite couple!!! *Sighs* It's good to be back in Eden's head. It's a little different now that Kiran and Eden are married and all, but not really. They're still the wonderful couple that I love so much. This novella takes place at the end of The Relentless Warrior, so make sure you read it after that book. What I loved about this novella is that I got see and feel Eden's reactions to everything going on instead of seeing it all from Jericho's or Olivia's point of views. And let's be honest. Eden's POV is the best POV there is. Maybe it's because she's such a strong and emotional character. Maybe it's because she loves Kiran. Maybe it's because I've been in her head for so many books that I've become particularly fond of her way of narrating. Whatever the reason, I find her POV the most enjoyable. And I was so happy that we got a better glimpse of what life is like for Eden and Kiran now that they are married. Sure, we get to see them in The Reluctant King and The Relentless Warrior, but it's not the same. It's especially hard for me to read those books and not know exactly what is happening to Eden and Kiran at the time, so I'm glad this novella went back and covered a little bit of the things I've been so desperately longing for. Love Eden! Love Kiran! Love this novella!
