About the Author

To write or not to write. It isn't so much a question as it is a need. With so many characters vying for a chance for their story to be told, it's little wonder this California native took the plunge and penned a short romance.Miriam finds pleasure in bringing her characters to life, giving them a chance to tell their story as only they can. She writes what interests her--contemporary and, most recently, sci-fi/fantasy--and always ensures her characters find the happily-ever-after they rightfully deserve.

This was an excellent book. True that it was predictable, but it is a free book... What do u expect? It was sappy, sweet, simple and one of my favorite books ever. It didnt only have love either, it also had comedy which further added to the plot. This book was heart warming and touching and full of youth and love at every page turn. READ!!!

This is a great book. I am glad I found it, one of my favorites now. I fell in love with the characters instantly. Love how in the end everything was resolved. It was a bit predictable and sappy, but thats perfect for me.

All though the plot seems cute, it's not worth it. There are too many grammar errors to count, and they were so bad that I couldn't even finish the book. Also she does a poor job on introducing the characters and their history. Even though this book was free, I suggest you don't even waste your time.

I didn't particularly get into either of the main characters of this book. The "love" interest isn't so interesting and they seem to just randomly fall for one another without actual cause or real interaction. There is no build-up, just "oh I saw him and then I loved him" type plot plowing. The story itself seems choppy, moving along with strained flow.

Here is the thing abiut this author: all of her short stories have virtually have the same story. The main girl's parents are almost always dead (killed in some tragic accident), the stories all take place at,round Christmas, which happens to be the main girls' Birthday. She always falls in love quickly with a man who is at least 10 years older than her. The books are cute (and I use that term loosely) but they all lack originality. The author is an amateur at best.

I have read most of M.B Forester-Smythe's books and this one did not disappoint. It had great characters, pretty good plot, romance and I think it had a good ending too. I will continue to be a big fan of this author.

Well, a 13 year old loved, loved, loved it! Probably why I didn't. I have nothing at all in common with a 13yo, except I was 13 a LONG time ago. Maybe they should specify who the author's target audience is? This is sweet, but come on, my kids are older than the target audience. Not for me. My apologies to the young lady who posted her age, but that's an hour and a half I'll never get back.

So cute. I mean there were some grammar errorrs, but most ebooks are not proofread very well. Nice happily ever after story with a bit of tragedy along the way. : )

I loved the characters in this story. The drama in this book were great I was tearing up. And I thought the journey in this book was wonderful. Mabey do a 2nd book with Lana and Tyler and how the relationship with Lana's parents goes. But otherwise this was a great book. And also it was free!! (Which i love!!)

This is an absolutely lovely book. If you want a light read about romance this is perfect!! Its such a sweet book and I absolutely love it. Very well written and the plot is great! Deffinitely get it, especially since it is free.

I didn't like the double standard of Bre's morality. She was supposed to be this great person, full of love and caring for other people more than herself. OK. But then she is jumping on this guy's lap, straddling him and sucking face before they actually dated! I definitely would not recommend this book to young women. It gives the impression that you can be loose and sexually immoral while having a reputation of being a "do gooder". No Christian values. I know it is not a Christian book, so I should have known better.
