This is the 5th installment in the Auntie Clem’s Bakery Book Series. Each of these books could potentially be read on their own, however, you will lose a lot of the background plot and character development if you do so. I would highly suggest you read these books in order so that you can enjoy the full set as it was meant to be read. Once again, things have settled down in Bald Eagle Falls and Erin Price is hard at work in Auntie Clem’s Bakery, baking her gluten free goodies for her customers to enjoy, and just enjoying life now that everything has calmed down. She is looking forward to getting to know her newly discovered sister Charley, and curious to see what happens if and when Charley gets the one and only other bakery to reopen. This could put a strain on her customer base and potentially put her in financial straits. But before the bakery business is resolved, another mysterious death occurs and Erin is again smack dab at the center of it all. Who could have had it in for Joelle. Or more to the point, who didn’t, since she was a very unlikeable person. And who had enough knowledge to be able to apply a poultice that would cause the effect that would render her unconscious at just the right time to make it appear that Erin had something to do with it? Is it another unlucky coincidence or something more sinister? Read it for yourself to see.
