Meet Carson Anderson, the cousin of the Presley brothers of Ransom Creek.
Single males in need of a bride for a day? This is strictly an at your service business proposition. . . Do you need the eyes of a woman to help plan and/or set up an event with your personal interest and taste in mind, but with an added touch of your bride—if you had one—then call Bride for Hire and let me do the work…
Jilted twice Bella Reese has no plans to find out if three's the magic number. She's done with men. But she's always loved the idea of being a bride, setting up house, planning parties making sure things are pretty and homey-the perfect nest for a home…and she's determined not to give up on that dream. Six months after her final wedding fiasco she's turned a new leaf and opened her business, Bride For Hire. So far she's been amazingly busy with corporate events with no "homey" entering the equation. Until now…
After being jilted by his ex, Rancher Carson Anderson will never make the marriage mistake again. But now his daughter is turning four and he wants to make her fourth birthday special and redecorate his ranch house to make it more "homey" for a growing little girl. The irony of his situation is he lives on the outskirts of Bride Texas the legendary home of the jilted bride…a small town south of Fort Worth.
When his cousin Cooper Presley shows him the ad from a Fort Worth newspaper it's everything he's looking for—even the plainly stated—absolutely no romance involved. Carson makes the call.
It sounds like the perfect plan until he meets Bella.

Bride for Hire by Debra Clopton Bride Texas Multi-Author Series Book Seven Carson Andrews is content. His cousin, Cooper Presley, keeps pushing him to move on. He's been divorced for two years and the only thing that matters to him now is his little girl. He does agree with Cooper on one thing...calling the number for the no attachments ad for the women who can come make his house a home and help with April's fifth birthday party. Bella Reese is done with love. After two failed engagements...no more. Instead, she's opened a business Bride for Hire. She does all the things a wife would do—with no emotional attachments. Until her present client in Bride, Texas. Another wonderful, sweet cowboy romance from author Debra Clopton. Full of characters you can't help but fall in love with...and get excited knowing they have stories coming too. Like the Presley brothers from Ransom Creek.
Bride for Hire is another sweet cowboy romance by Debra Clopton but this one includes Carson's four year old daughter, April! Carson is a strong male character whose ex-wife left him and their daughter and has ever returned even for a visit. Bella has been jilted twice in the past and she is not looking for love. You'll enjoy this story as Bella is hired to decorate Carson and April's house and make it a cozy home. I received a complimentary copy of Bride for Hire from the author. This is my honest opinion.
Bride For Hire (Bride, Texas Series - Book 7 ) By: Debra Clopton Bride For Hire is book seven in Bride, Texas Series . Clopton weaves herself another winner. I loved it. The story flows easy and the characters were well developed. Clopton writes a good clean romance that will hook you right at the start. I did not want to put it down. Carson and Bella both have been jilted and hurt by love and not looking for romance. Bella runs her business bride for hire. Carson is a single dad and trying to raise his small daughter, April. He hires Bella to give his home a makeover. Even though neither is looking for love , there is attraction right away. You will also meet Carson’s cousins. This was a fun read and i really loved little April. I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give positive review.
This was a sweet, well-written book. Bella has been jilted and does not plan to get into another relationship. She likes making a house a home, though, and opens a business to add a "homey" touch to environments. Carson has been jilted and is no longer interested in having a relationship. His daughter is turning four and he wants to make her bedroom and their house more "homey". He sees Bella's ad and decides to hire her. Once they meet things proceed in a way that neither of them envisioned. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more books by this author.
Carson and Bella have being jilted in common. Can his daughter April break down their barriers to romance? Sparks fly. I felt for Bella and loved how the author handled the ex and his wife. This is so refreshing. April was adorable. A sweet romance with a well done story line.
Can two people who have been burned by love find a way to move forward and rekindle a new relationship? Or are there too many risks to chance it? Bella Reese has been betrayed by a man not once, but twice. Now, she's done with them and is determined to make a life for herself as a single woman. However, her passion is with decorating and party planning. Therefore, she decides to start a business called Bride for Hire where she helps create a "homey" atmosphere for her clients. So far, things have been going great. That is, until she's hired by a handsome rancher from Bride, TX. Rancher Carson Anderson knows firsthand what it's like to have someone walk out on him. Divorced and raising his young daughter, April, he decides it's time to decorate and create a fun living environment for her. So, when his cousin tells him about Bride for Hire, he decides to hire someone to make his house a home. What he didn't expect was for the woman stepping out of her car to take his breath away. Suddenly, his decision doesn't seem so good after all. Or, was it the best thing he's ever done? What follows is a sweet story of two damaged people resisting love because they're scared of another repeat. What I liked about the story is that they were mature and honest about their feelings with each other. They each had a lot at stake and couldn't afford another mistake. Character development is good and I felt that the timeline worked sufficiently well. I'm hopeful that the author will branch off from this and write stories about Carson's cousins. Romance - PG, kissing Language - clean My rating - 5 stars
This is a sweet, clean romance about two individuals have have been deeply hurt by those they entrusted their love. Bella Reese has been jilted twice and betrayed by someone close to her. She now has a new business of hiring herself and her services out to create a happy moment and /or place for others. Though she can’t live her dreams, she wants to give that dream to others. Carson Anderson and his daughter where betrayed and abandoned by his wife and as a single parent , he would do anything for his daughter April. His cousin , Cooper, whom we have met before in another of Ms Clopton’s stories, shows Carson Bella’s ad. It’s touching to see the relationship Carson has with his daughter, and how the two of them steal Bella’s heart. But the distrust and self- doubts are obstacles neither Carson or Bella seem able to overcome. Will they be able to get their HEA? This is a light, sweet story you will all enjoy. Aside from the main story, it was fun to “see” again the Presley brothers. Can’t wait for their stories to be published. I was gifted this copy . The opinions expressed are solely my own.
