I was given this book in exchange for an honest review. I like poetry but it isn't something I go out of my way to read. However, this book has boosted my love of poetry. It is an amazing collection and one I am sure to read again.
Recently I have been loving poetry and short stories. I am currently in the process of moving so I haven't had much time to sit down and read a long novel. Brine Rights is one of the best I have *ever* read. Right up there with the classics. It tackles most of the horrible things afflicting the world today. Poverty, world hunger, communism, rape. When I say everything, I literally mean it. My personal favorite (although it is almost impossible to pick) was This Confession has Meant Nothing. It was so abstract but it really got to me. This is one of those books that you really want to get a paperback version of. Just so you can display and thumb through it at your leisure. Highly recommend!
