About the Author

I'm a thirty two year old self-proclaimed book nerd. Married to my husband for nearly eleven years, we enjoy spending time with our two lovely children. Writing is a newly acquired fun hobby for me. In the past, I've enjoyed the role as a reader. However, recently, I have learned I absolutely love taking on the creative role as the writer. Something about determining how the story will play out intrigues me to no end. My husband claims that it's because I like to control things-in a way he's right!
By day, I run around from appointment to appointment wearing many hats including, mom, wife, part-time graphic designer, blogger, networker, social media stalker, student, business owner, and book boyfriend hunter (It's actually a thing-complete with pink camo. I lurk around the internet "researching" pictures of hot guys that fit the profile of whatever book boyfriend I'm reading or writing about).
I guess you can blame my obsession with books on my lovely grandmother whom is quite possibly my favorite person on the planet. At an early age, she took me to the Half-Priced bookstore each weekend and allowed me to choose a book. Every single time, she caved when I begged for two. Without her encouragement, I wouldn't have been able to cope during some hard times without my beloved books.
Currently, I am finishing up my college degree that has taken me forever to complete. It's just on the list of my many "bucket-list" goals that I subject myself to.
Most days, you can find me firmly planted in front of my computer. It's my life. If the world ever loses power, I'd be one of the first to die-of boredom! But, I guess as long as I have books and a light, I might just survive.

4.5 Stars Broken is a story of – yes, two broken people who met in a very unusual circumstances, started a game they can never seem to finish, as they were hooked with each other, and fell in love. It’s mostly in Andi’s voice, with Jackson’s voice inserting by the end part of the novel which made me more understand what in the world is wrong with him. He can be sweet, then suddenly he’s cold. It’s killing Andi (and me!). Andi and him were betrayed by people they love and trusted most. They dealt with it differently, but still suffered a profound lost they never thought they would find someone they could trust with their hearts again. Good thing, Andi has Pepper and later, Olive. They’re great friends, especially Pepper who knocks some senses into her most of the time, even though she doesn’t heed most of her advices. At least she tries.  If Andi had once been hurt, and her heart broken, she’s very careful now. She begins to have some rules. And she was very keen on following it all the time, until Jackson came along. He was something different, and her game had excite him. Although he too has some issues, and baggage he keeps inside him. Andi was almost willing to change the rules of her game, but with the mixed signals he’s sending her – would it be worth it? Not to mention, an old unwanted flame suddenly came out of nowhere and was pushed back into her life. (Which makes everything cutthroat exciting!) You are in for a short, VERY HOT, SENSUAL, STEAMY, read. I felt like its mocking me on Valentine’s Day – while Andi was getting the best sex of her life and having multiple orgasms I have no one (hehe, kidding!). Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading Andi and Jackson’s road to recovery and to each other. Jackson may have made a lot of wrong turns, but he made it to the destination. I can’t wait for the next two in the series: Pepper’s and Olive – most especially Pepper’s!!!! ¿ARC Copy was given in exchange for an honest review.¿

I decided to do a throwback and read K. Webster's first book baby. I was certainly not disappointed. First off, this did not read like someone's first book. I loved the characters and how vividly they leapt from the pages. I was totally invested in the story and had an intense need to know what would happen next for Andi and Jackson. Andi's "dark two weeks" scenes really added great darkness and depth to the story. I felt torn apart emotionally more and more after each one. As things went along and I saw Andi's walls being torn down, I was cheering her on. Jackson had a dark past of his own to overcome though, and it made for a very intense back-and-forth between these two. In regards to poor Andi, it was the old 'if it can happen, it will happen' at play. She couldn't seem to catch a break in some regards. Chapter 22 completely threw me for a loop. I could feel her hurt and emotions raging right along with mine. And as many of the secrets revealed themselves later, I found it hard to wrap my head around all of the hurt and pain that Jackson was carrying around. The layers and emotions within this book were truly incredible. This was an absolutely fantastic book that had so many amazing elements and emotions within its pages. I highly recommend it and cannot wait to get my hands on the others in this series. These characters have gotten under my skin in the best of ways and I have to have more.

## Ok this woman needs a shrink not a drink. She is one hot mess. I didn't like her. At all. Don't bother with this one.

I just could not connect with the main character. She just became so effing annoying. I could never be friends with someone like this. Fiance cheats so she turns into Ms. PROMISCUOUS? She is just a self-absorbed, immature train wreck. This skank's friends have to babysit her and clean up her messes. She repays them by endangering them, dragging a different strange man home every weekend into a shared apartment. The characters get drunk, everyday, yet are still having these successful careers? The list of the wrongs with this book, could make up for the little that was right. Ugh. Disappointed.
