Short werewolf story, about 15pgs. Starts off sunshine, turns creepy real fast and then sunshine. It was almost a 4, but at the end she needed to have an epilogue and end w/the woman and 2 boys coming out of the diner. Well written , I enjoyed it!

The first short story i read by Annie Bellet was Witch Hunt. Forgive me if I misspelled her name. The review page does't show it and if I go back to look, I will lose all I've written here.). I really enjoyed that book. 40 pages short and still the characters were defined and interesting, the story compelling. This 15 page book, on my Nook, didn't come close. It seemed like something one might write to only share her barest idea for a story. It wasn't long enough to tell much of anything. The concept was alright, be it very dark. It was just dissatisflying. The end didn't even make clear sense. Was she in that much of a hurry to finish? I enjoyed Witch Hunt so much that i will give this author another try. I hope this was just a bad bleep on the radar and that her other books measure up to Witch Hunt.

Think of this short story as an anti - paranormal romance, or what happens when happily ever after turns into a nightmare. Well - drawn characters, with some tense and creepy sequences. Perfect for reading during a quick break at work. Recommended to fans of Lindsey Buroker, SM Reine, and Meghan Ciana Doidge. -- lyradora

A good short story about the less savory parts of the current stories about modern day werewolves. Features a smart heroine.
