This author dazzles the reader with sharp writing and a fantastic can't put down plot. It's refreshing to read such an intelligent and authentic story that also draws you in with characters to care about. From the opening scene I was holding my breath. A great inside look into a world I never would have accessed, the DC gang scene. A heart-pounding thrill ride and a satisfying love story. This is a can't miss book for those who love smart suspense.

Sensation romantic suspense debut! FBI Gang Task Force hero vs a teacher for teens at risk collide in a desperate hunt for murderers. He wants to find the killer and her inside knowledge of the Hispanic gang culture is his only hope. But her priority is keeping her students safe from police/ICE and authorities the teens have come to fear. Great sexual chemistry and the authenticity of gang culture/lingo and meaning behind graffiti left me in awe. Heart-stopping action--this author really nailed it!

Absolutely loved this book! Krista Hall has become one of my favorite writers and I can't wait to buy her next book! Trevy and Cruz, her heroine and hero, are strong and smart, yet vulnerable. The chemistry between the two is dynamic and their story is action-packed. No dull moments here! I am putting Hall on my auto-buy list right now!
