I was so happy it was turning into a happy ever after ending but damn. Murder, jail and Steve oh my!!! Can't wait to get the next installment. I loved how the family all came back together and cullem is finally coming around to help.

I wish it had been longer. I was done with it in two days. Now what?? I guess I'll have to wait to see what's next at the end of the year. Sighhhhh, that's so far away.

I liked this one a lot better than book 1. It was nice being able to see inside Reed’s head, to get his perspective. It endeared him to me even more. I finished this book in pretty much 2 days, because I couldn’t put it down. I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars.   So once again there’s D-R-A-M-A, but for the most part, it felt mostly less dramatic than book 1 to me. Some people might find this one a little boring compared to book 1, but I enjoyed it. The ending was over the top what the heck is going on though. Like I can’t even with the twists and turns. It made me want book 3 right away though, so that’s good. Unfortunately my library doesn’t have this series, so I had to get them with an interlibrary loan. So I’m not sure if I should request book 3 as an interlibrary loan, or just buy the books eventually. A decision for another time.   Reed is amazing, although Easton is still my favorite Royal. I liked Callum a lot more in this book. There were some cute lines, but I didn’t keep track because I didn’t want to give any spoilers. Overall, this was a fast, enjoyable read. But I really don’t know how I feel about the last couple surprises at the end of the book, especially the last one. Guess I have to read the next book before I can make a final conclusion.

Broken Prince is like a guilty pleasure soap opera. It picks up right where Paper Princess left off except in this installment we get the added bonus of Reed’s POV. It was so jam packed with crazy drama that I devoured it within 7 hours. When I say that this is like a soap opera, I’m not just saying that lightly. Everyone’s sleeping with everyone which has a whole slew of scandal attached to it, people are hiding dark secrets, there’s life threatening attacks, murder, and even people coming back from the dead. There was always something going on that it was so hard to put the book down to break for lunch. Since this is a continuation of the first book, I don’t want to go into too much detail about what goes on because everything that happens in this book is a result of what happened in the previous book. All I can say is that the Royals facade of unity is dissolving at a rapid pace and not only is it impacting their home life, but their peers at school smell the bad blood in the water and go into a frenzy. What used to be a “Royals run hierarchy” is now a free-for-all with students bullying each other in steroid mode. I mean, they’re taping girls up against the entrance to the school, in their underwear. That’s just one example. When I say that this book was over the top and dramatic, I’m not making it up. This series is turning out to be one interesting soap opera. Who’s the baby daddy? Who killed “insert name here.” Will “so and sos” attacker be brought to justice or will they escape the clutches of the law? And that cliffhanger ending is totally a shock factor that no one saw coming. I mean, the authors might as well have ended the story with, “to be continued” in big bold letters across the page. It was just so dramatic that I was still reeling from something else when the ending came out of nowhere and knocked me out. I mean, it’s so crazy, so over the top, and so random that I just wonder if the authors wrote down possible scenarios and pulled them out of a hat as they wrote. One thing is for sure though, I’ve already got the next book sitting right here next to me and I plan to devour it just as fast as this one. It may be a bit soap opera-ish but I’ve got no shame in that. This series has got me tuning in for the next installment.

Okay, so book 2, I have to do my best to not give any spoilers. I read the first 75% of this in one day, and then finished the next day basically. And, like the first book, this one had a major cliffhanger, but it was one that I totally did not see coming! If I'd been reading this during the summer time, I might not have gone to bed until I'd finished the whole thing in one day. And it was a good thing I'd already given in and purchased book 3 at the same time. As I mentioned above, the boys and Ella are able to move past the resentment, and the boys come to feel as if she is their sister, well, not Reed, as he and Ella kind of think about their attraction and giving into it. But Ella knows it isn't going to be good for her to be with him, and of course his father doesn't really want that to happen. Callum is supposed to be taking care of her for his friend, not setting her up with his sons that she is living with. But this new attitude with the boys and Ella is one that even though she still thinks that she wants to leave after school and never come back, maybe even leave now, they don't want her to. They really are glad to have her in their lives, most of them as part of their family, and they will do what they can to keep her there with them. I won't go on, don't want to do any spoilers! But again, have book 3 ready for when you finish this one, as you won't be happy if you have to wait after this cliffhanger.

Really enjoyed the second book in this series. It got even crazier than the first. The great entertainment factor was there and I loved the main character, Ella, even more. What a strong and likable character she is. There is a message there. With her background, everyone made their critical judgements. And she was better than them all. Those rich, entitled jerks at the school should be jailed. Gosh, I couldn't stand them all. I was really on the fence with Reed from the first book. Wasn't sure how he was going to pull off my forgiveness. That boy has some really bad judgement but I did end up rooting for him and Ella. The story line gets even crazier in this sequel . If you enjoyed the first book, you will love this one.

The Good This series is a train-wreck that I can't stop watching. The characters in this book are all messed up, and not just the usual 'flawed'...they are seriously messed up. The phrase 'broken' describes Reed rather well. I can't help but get sucked in to the crazy chaos in these pages. I've compared it to Gossip Girl in the first one, and I think that still applies. It's a bunch of people who have money to buy them out of almost anything they come up against so they feel the right to do anything. There's the Royal family who all have one sick problem or another. However, I can't help but root for them and hope everything turns out in their favor. Why do I even like these people? The authors are just that good. I can't stop reading. I devoured these pages. The Bad Stupid cliffhanger...stupid bad crazy twist cliffhanger ending. The Romance Reed seriously screwed up in Paper Princess. I can't really say much about what happens in the romance department in this one without spoiling everything. There is a lot of back-stabbing, blackmailing, breakups, hookups, and twisted sordid affairs. Conclusion I can't stay away. The pages just suck me in and won't let me go. It's a mess with so much wrong morally that I can't even mention a lot of it. It's a bunch of rich and spoiled crazies with drama on 10.
