Liam is book 2 in the Brother's Keeper Series. I think it could be a stand alone but I highly recommend you read the books in order. To me, I think it allowed me to connect better with the characters and get a better appreciation for the series. Felicity (City) Nichols's past has come back to affect her present and possibly the future of not only herself but those she cares deeply for. She is attempting to handle it on her own as she wants to protect those around her. Liam O'Reilly has noticed that City is acting strangely and keeps track of her (he keeps track of all his family members) and starts following her to make sure she's ok. He's very protective to those he cares about and to those he lives in denial of caring about. All the O'Reilly's get involved to not only protect their own but the resolve the threat. The more time Liam spends with City the more he is aware of the feelings he has for her. Liam is still dealing (not dealing) with the loss of his wife to cancer. Because he isn't coping well it is affecting his relationship with his daughter Reagan. City and Reagan are very close. One of the most touching things is the letters that Reagan's mom left for her. A letter for every issue/problem that Reagan will have to face as she grows up. That is so special and meaningful. What I really loved about this book is that it has everything that I love in a book and more. The suspense, the intrigue, the romance, protective alpha males, family pulling together. Stephanie has such an amazing way of writing that just sucks you right into the story and not letting you go until the very end. Then it has you counting down to the next book.

Liams story was a great read! Made me cry several times,  but had plenty of action and a great love story mixed in.  If you like suspense,  romance and tear jerker the you will love this story!

NO SPOLILERS or insight to book...Wow never thought the Brother's Keepers series could get much better then Declan but Stephanie knocked Liam out of the ball park. So many emotions and thinking going on with Liam and City (Felicity). You will not be disappointed in reading this book and you don't have to read Declan to read Liam but you will want to. Love how each book gives a little more insight into the rest of the O'Reilly clan. This book shows that love can come a second time around and what the true meaning of family and taking care of your own means.

You never know what to expect from St. Klaire. Each book is different from the others that she has written. In Liam, she takes us to a high tech world in which the bad guys are almost non-detectable. They are everywhere. It is terrifying and makes it almost impossible to put the book down. In Liam, St. Klaire uses a high tech world to terrorize her characters, but she also creates a family that loves, heals and leans on each other as they protect their own. The mix is perfection! Liam and Felicity are drawn together in their caring for Liam's daughter, yet Liam's determination to keep a distance between them is firmly in place. Felicity (City) has brought danger to the group and is determined to take care of it by herself. The need to protect Felicity just might be what breaks down the wall Liam has put up between them--if she doesn't kill him first. A great read!

Another fantastic book by Stephanie St. Klaire! We’ve met Liam in previous books but this time he is front and center. Liam is the computer geek/hacker brother of the O’Reilly clan. He is also a single father whose wife passed away years earlier. Liam works and falls for(although he will deny this) Felicity “City” a fellow computer hacker who cares for his daughter and has been taken under his family’s wing. City has been acting strangely and Liam being worried keeps track of her and involves his brothers. City’s hacker past has caught up with her. The crime in this book is different than what the brothers are used to dealing with. The criminal is hiding behind a computer and not one that they can just easily find and deal with. Liam realizes that since his wife has died he hasn’t even much of a father to his daughter. Even though he loves her very much he can’t quite get over the emotional hurdle that he is stuck on. He is afraid if he is too close to her and something happens to him it will be harder on her than if he keeps his distance. City and his dead wife, through letters she left before she died, help him realize he isn’t really living and doing a disservice to the life Liam and his wife had together. Liam and City were great together. Even though Liam was in denial of his feelings for her City never pressured or pushed him into being with her. She is a strong person to take care of his daughter for years and basically love him without letting him know. It was perfect how and when they got together. This book had some emotional scenes. I pretty much read them through tears but they were perfect and I wouldn’t want a thing to change. This was a fabulous book and I don’t know how this series just keeps getting better but it does. I am excited to read the other O’Reilly brothers books. I think you got a better feel for them in this book and I look forward to them each getting their story told.

This series is fantastic, it is full of action, tension and suspense. There are also a whole mix of emotions going on, from love and passion to fear and pain. Liam lost his childhood love to cancer, despite still having his brothers and his daughter he has been in a dark place. He loved her then lost her, the pain so bad he stopped feeling. Felicity is a friend to them all as well as a colleague, she loves Liam and his daughter as well as being like a sister to his wife before they lost her. Now though trouble has come knocking, she just wants to protect those she loves. This is heartbreaking at times, the pain so intense you almost feel as they do, it is also uplifting in many ways or at least I found it so. I love these brothers and how they support each other but will still give each other stick if its warranted, City is fabulous with all of them but especially Reagan, stepping in when she needs a female's advice. The plot is exciting and full of twists and turns that keep you guessing, it can also be a little funny at times just enough to lighten it up a bit. I love my heroes a little bit damaged, they call to my heart somehow reach inside and tug all the strings. This story had me in tears on more than one occasion, but that shows a great author in my mind, that they can get me so caught up in the book that I forget completely that it is fiction and not real life. I am straight into Luke's book so that's great as well.

Liam is the second book in the Brother's Keeper series, and it is fantastic! Liam O'Reilly is the computer nerd in his families high tech security business. He also happens to be a widowed father of a little girl named Reagan, but Liam cannot be the father, brother, or friend that he needs to be, because he is so overwhelmed with grief and guilt. Felicity Nichols, better known as "City" was the best friend of his wife, Cassidy. City made promises to help take care of Reagan and Liam, and she intends on keeping those promises. But she has a past that is fixing to catch up with her and rather than ask for help, she wants to protect her family and friends as best as she can, and this simply doesn't work for Liam, or his brothers. This book is loaded with mystery, suspense, action, and passion. If that is not enough, it will also tug at your heartstrings as Cassidy has a way of helping her daughter and husband from the grave. I highly recommend this book to all romance lovers and cannot wait for the next book in the series!

This author is new to me, so I thought I would see if I would like her books. This book is part 2 of a series of books written about Brother’s Keeper—a top-notch security firm. There are 5 brothers who run the firm, and apparently each brother will have his story. The story was about Liam, one of the brothers, and Felicity, nicknamed ‘City.’ Felicity was Liam‘s wife’s best friend, and is helping Liam raise his daughter, Reagan. Liam is having a hard time moving on after the death of his wife seven years earlier. He feels guilty for feeling anything at all for Felicity, and is basically just existing. He’s not being a very good dad to his daughter, and he certainly is not interested in a relationship with anyone except his dead wife. Through a series of events, he finally figures out that it is time to move on. Felicity, on the other hand, is being tracked by a computer hacker, who believe she has some of his money. While I am not a computer hacker, and I’m not savvy to all of the things the computer hackers can do, the events that happened in this book are believable enough to make it seem like they could really occur. This book was action-packed, and filled with the reactions of a man who is finally moving on, and a woman who had waited for years for this man to do so. There were some unexpected twists in the book, and the action was fast-paced enough to keep the reader interested. All-in-all, this is an author I will read again and will seek out in the future. I really enjoyed this book and will seek out the remaining books in the series. I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Liam lost Cassidy 7 years ago and he was left to bring up their daughter. Which he did, but unable to grieve properly he does it with his heart shuttered up.   Now with Felicity's life in danger, Liam realises what is precious to him and finally opens his heart.   A great book, but it needs reading properly to keep a track of all the action. There is no scan reading to be done here.   I loved Reagan and the Cassidy letters.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Stephanie St. Klaire is a new to me author and I can't wait to read more books by her. Liam is a flawed and damaged character. He will break your heart in the best way. Felicity will also capture your heart. They have a connection that leaps from the pages. This book has romance, suspense, and a family dynamic that will leave you wanting for more. I read Liam first even though he was book 2 in the series. This book stood on its own, but I can't wait to go back and read Declan. It has great character dynamic, suspenseful plotline, and moments that will make you laugh out loud. Take a chance on this book - you will not be disappointed.

Brother's Keeper: Liam, is book two in a series. We have seen hints of Liam from other books of Stephanie St. Klaire and it was really great to have his story and to see inside his mind and know why he acts the way he does. The suspense pulls the readers through loops and bends and twists and turns that you don't see coming. We get to know more about Felicity and her past and watch as they deal with their pasts and their feelings for each other. There were some pretty emotional parts that I needed tissues for but I still highly recommend this great read.

Liam is the second stand alone story in Stephanie St Klaire's Brother's Keeper. From the first page, I was completely hooked into this incredible story. I devoured the book in nearly one setting because I hadn't seen the twists and turns in the plot and had to know how it would end. Liam is the protector for his family. He will stop at nothing to keep his family safe. He spends his days in his lair, keeping tabs on his company and loved ones. Liam is a genius. Well a tech genius. When it comes to real life, he might be a little behind the times. He is still grieving from the loss of his wife and has no idea how to move on. Felicity has been there all along helping his daughter and unknowingly him, in the absence of his wife. Felicty has been the one constant in holding Liam and his daughter together. She will stop at nothing to protect the ones she loved. When her past comes to haunt her, she has no where to run or hide, because it has the ability to reach anywhere. Technology is a great thing, but left in the hands of the wrong people, it just might be what ends it all. I loved this unique storyline featured in this book. It made me feel all the feels. I my heart raced as the twists and turns unfolded, I nearly sobbed during the times I was wrecked and I laughed out loud at the antics the O'Reilly brothers would resort to. I absolutely love this series. Stephanie St Klaire has the ability to weave multiple storylines across a stand a lone series and completely keep my interest. Book three cannot come out soon enough!

Another good story by Stephanie St. Klaire. Liam and Felicity have a strong relationship from the start and it was really exciting to watch the twists and turns as the two of them grew closer and ultimately became a couple while chasing down one of Felicity's demons. The fact that Liam had a daughter and his wife died was an added element to the story as Liam's own struggle unfolded while he tried to make peace with himself for loving another woman; feeling disloyal to his wife. Cassidy, his wife, clearly knew her husband and wrote letters to help him through his struggles. From the beginning with their daughter Reagan, Cassidy's letters played a big part. I wish that there would have been more letters embedded throughout the story. Overall, this was a great book and I can't wait to read the next one.

I am so in love with this book. I did not read the first book in this series before reading this one. I am currently reading book 1 and I don’t feel like reading them out of order hurts! Liam is just the sweetest kindest person with a heart of gold. He deserves a life with someone he loves but he feels he cannot do that again. Liam has a loving, supportive family and a great friend, City, who is pretty taken with his daughter. I laughes and I cried and then I cried some more. I wanted Liam to have the love he so derserved. City was perfect and she was loved and respected. The book just took my breath away and that is why I chose to start reading book number one and I will be first in line to read the books to follow. Stephanie you did an absolutely remarkable job writing this book!!!

Author St. Klaire takes the second book in this series to a new level, combining computers and hacking with suspense and adding a love story to it. Great story and St. Klaire is an amazing storyteller.

Liam has struggled since the death of his wife as he has been unable to move forward with his life and as a result he has distanced himself from his daughter. Felicity (City) was his wife’s best friend and she is not only an employee of their security company she has become part of the O’Reilly family and is helping to raise his daughter. In the past City was a hacker and now that past is not only threatening the new life she has built but the people in that life as well. She will do whatever is necessary to protect those she loves but will she let Liam help before it is too late? The journey to find the truth is filled with suspense, twists but it is the emotional part of the book that you will remember the most. I am loving this family and can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Stephanie St. Klaire just keeps raising the bar! Her newest romance is her best yet! Liam is my favorite of the O'Reilly brothers, I've been looking forward to his story. His beautiful complex story left me emotionally exhausted!! I loved it so much!!! Ms. St. Klaire created another winner full of intrigue, battles of wit, crime, and romance. Pick it up, you won't be disappointed.

Stephanie St. Klaire did it again! Another awesome book full of twists and turns. Love lost and found and full of family tom foolery. Poor Felicity is in trouble and Liam is trying to protect her. (no spoilers here) Liam has to come to terms with how he feels about everything and he is having a hard time doing it. You need to read this book for all the feels! (you might want a tissue handy in a few spots) Such a great book! Cant wait for the next one!

This book was awesome! A sweet coming together of two people amidst one absolutely gripping suspense. Felicity came to Brothers Keeper Security because she was an amazing computer hacker, second only to Liam. She definitely gives his hacking a run for his money. But these two have been dancing around their feelings for years. It takes some time and a few harsh realities for Liam to realize that he really could love again and live life without his late wife. She finally gives in to being open about the threats from her past and allowing the O’Reilly clan to help her finally put her past where it belonged! I loved both of these characters in other books and love that they finally have their story and a HEA! Although it’s part of a series, it can be read stand alone. But I recommend reading the series! It will make some parts more understandable.

OMG!!! I'm speechless!!! From his first appearance I knew Liam was special, I wasn't mistaken!!! This book is everything, I had the waterworks going, goosebumps, adrenaline, and, oh the heat!!! All the feels is not enough to describe what this book gave me. Don't let Liam's nerd status fool you, he's a full on alpha male not afraid of getting his hands dirty in order to keep his loved ones safe, even if he won't admit love to himself. Felicity have been with the family for a long time, being part of every major win and loose, making her another member of the O'Reilly clan. Even though the brothers see her as a sister, Liam see and feel her like something more, but will the fear of love and losing get one of the best things that have happened to him? When Felicity and the family is targeted by her past, they have to fight with advanced weapons that only Liam and Felicity are acquainted with but the war is just as deadly, all the while trying to find the path to mend their hearts and accept the possibility of a future.

So often I find myself writing reviews that are almost a story unto themselves, but I’m not sure I can do that with this one. There is so much that happens, so much to discover, just … I am so SO afraid I’ll ruin things for you and I do NOT want to do that! Liam is one of the O’Reilly brothers — super intelligent men who pretty much save the world on the daily. Liam is a single dad that absolutely loves his daughter, but finds it difficult to relate to her. Felicity is the bridge that keeps them together. She loves and helps out Reagan (Liam’s daughter) when Liam isn’t quite sure what to do or how to handle some of her … lady issues. When things start getting a little crazy, Liam and Felicity find that they can no longer deny the attraction between them. “I can’t be all the things you may want me to be, but I can be something.” Will they ever find love? This is another fantastic story! I love the suspense, the heat, the love, the intrigue, the … all the things! This is definitely recommended for fans of romance, suspense, or just a great story.

OMG!!!! I absolutely loved this book. Liam is a loving but broken soul after his wife died 7 years ago. Felicity who works for Brother's Keeper would help take care of Liam's daughter. Ms. St. Klaire definitely keep you on your toes with this book. There were twists and turns that you would not expect. If you need a good book to read that makes you keep wanting more this would be it.

Loved Liam in the first Brother's Keeper book and I'm so glad we got to read his story. This is the second book in the Brother's Keeper series and it is full of action, drama, angst, suspense, danger, mystery and love. It has everything a great book needs to make it a 5-star read. This is an excellent read and I could not put it down until the last page. Stephanie St. Klaire proves herself a master of writing suspenseful romance and I highly recommend you read her amazing books.

5 “All the Feels” Stars You know you’ve read a fantastic book when it leaves you feeling like you’ve been rode hard and put up wet. This is one of those books. St. Klaire brings out all the stops with this one. Powerful, raw and full of emotion. Liam is a hero that is as broken as they come and it takes someone as strong and special as Felicity to break down his walls and show him how it is to feel and live again...along with a little help from his deceased wife. I loved the tremendous role his wife Cassidy still plays even though she has been gone for seven years now. The books she made and the letters she wrote before she died ripped my heart to pieces and touched me deep down in my soul. Even thinking about them now brings tears to my eyes. No mother ever wants to have to write those kinds of letters, and my heart weeps for those who have. Stephanie St. Klaire is a powerhouse when it comes to writing beautiful stories that just suck you in from page one and keep you there until long after you’ve finished reading. The suspense in this book had me riveted and on the edge of my seat throughout its entirety. Not to mention I spent half the time with tears streaming down my face and the other half laughing at the overgrown, completely overbearing Alpha men that are the O’Reilly’s when it comes to their only niece Reagan. When trouble is literally stalking Liam, Felicity and Reagan, the O’Reilly’s rally and prove they take care of and protect their own. This one definitely left me with #allthefeels.
