A 1980 graduate of Fisk University, Terry is a husband, a father, a teacher, a visual artist and a jazz aficionado. These experiences permeate his poems and "poetic narratives." He lives just south of Boston, Massachusetts with his wife Terésa and his twenty-something daughter Maya.
