In this book, we read about a guinea-pig named Titch. For three weeks, Titch has been waiting in a pet store for a big person to take him home. He has tried everything to be picked as the lucky guinea-pig, but every time, the big people choose the other guinea-pig. This would all change when Titch finally got adopted by a boy named Bruno. Bruno and Titch were best friends, who did everything together. They played games together, they ate together, and they slept together. Anything that they could do together they did. However, Titch began to feel as if Bruno, wanted to get rid of him. He wondered what he had done wrong. Little may he know, but his fears would soon be terminated. This book has an adorable ending that young readers will love! I would highly recommend this book for young children who love a great story and guinea- pigs! When reading this book with my cousins, our personal favorite part was easily the very end, because it brought together the story, and was very cheerful! Review by Grace P., age 14, Mensa 76
