A fabulous title for a fabulous book!! Every chapter of this book is to be savored - Vickie Falcone inspires while giving practical suggestions for connecting with your children and yourself on a daily basis. I can't wait to read this book again and again and put new exercises (she recommends at the end of each chapter) to use!! I have bought this book as gifts and highly recommend it!! Learn to parent and live with more soul and enjoy the ride. Thank you, Vickie, for writing this wonderful book!!
This is a wonderful book for parents who want to really connect with their kids, rather than just 'parent' them. Vickie's style is funny, inspirational and best of all, practical! She offers advice and anecdotes and backs it all up with plenty of insight and information from spiritual masters. She uses quotes from the Bible and the Koran, as well as from Mother Theresa, the Dalai Lama and Henry David Thoreau among others, to illustrate her principles for parenting. A must-read for anyone who wants to take their relationships with their kids, co-workers or friends to a higher level!
