The book Buddy is great because it’s the dog’s point of view, also,it talks about a guide dog helping blind people get around places and people helping other people get around places. Also, it talks about how dogs get trained to help blind people. The main characters in the book are Buddy and Morris, Buddy is the dog helping Morris get around, Morris is the blind person getting helped by Buddy. Some settings are, the house, city, and the barber shop. Some plots were Buddy helping Morris get to the barber shop, Buddy showing Morris around the house, and Morris and Buddy playing in the bedroom with a dog toy, the city is where all of this happens. The main conflict/problem is Morris is blind and can’t see anything so he needs Buddy to help him get around. I recommend this book to anyone in 3rd grade to 7th grade o It’s a great book, if you like dogs, or people helping other people do things. If you like this book, there is more books like it of the series there’s also Ginger and many more.

"Buddy" is the story about the first seeing eye dog. Her original name was Kiss. She was trained and destined for great things. At the end of her training her trainer gave her to Morris Frank, a blind man. Buddy begins her adventures with Morris from pleasure walking, close calls, a maiden voyage, and even a visit to the White House! Buddy proved to the world that seeing eye dogs are special and are needed to guide the blind safely and faithfully.
