About the Author

Jade C. Jamison was born and raised in Colorado and has decided she likes it enough to stay forever. Jade's day job is teaching Creative Writing, but teaching doesn't stop her from doing a little writing herself.

Unfortunately, there's no one genre that quite fits her writing. Her work has been labeled romance, erotica, suspense, and women's fiction, and the latter is probably the safest and closest description. But you'll see that her writing doesn't quite fit any of those genres.

You'll have to discover Jade's writing for yourself to decide if you like it.

It was an okay story, I just wish the author could've let us in a bit more on the good qualities Ethan may have had, that way, readers could've better understood why he was always forgiven. Without showing anything good in Ethan the story comes across as a tale of a weak girl who accepts abuse. The second book may give a better picture of Ethan but I don't believe I will read another story in this series.

Jade C. Jamison has done it again! She has created a novel that has FANTASTIC character development and a love story (which of course which includes a little metal!) that spans several years. The story starts with the main character Valerie as a freshman in college, and it takes her on an epic rock journey with love, betrayal, heartache, friendships, and (of course) Sex, Drugs, and Rock-n-Roll! Don't let this fool you though - the novel not only brings to life what can happen on the road to success but the failures that go along with it. The way this story was written I can totally picture Valerie as a young Maria Brink from In This Moment from the way she sings to the way she dresses. I absolutely LOVED it! Three men come into her life during this time and Valerie struggles not only with her own personal morals but with her own feelings for each of these three men and which one will own her heart. Jade keeps you guessing until the end and the story will make you laugh, melt, get hot & bothered, cry, scream, and want to throw your book, Kindle, Nook or whatever device you are reading it on against the wall - BUT DON'T! Trust me when I say that you will enjoy Valeries HEA every bit as much as I did! Read this book and enjoy the ride.

A Raw and Intense Read! I loved this book! It was raw and intense and obsessive, I couldn’t get enough! This is not your typical Rock Star Romance. BULLET sucks you into all the drama surrounding a group of friends who are trying to turn their dream into a reality. It feels so “real” because you are introduced to the band from when they are just a “garage band.” Then you follow them through their experiences of finding out where they fit in, dealing with the pressures, groupies and relationships. You will get sucked into the lives of each character and you will not be able to put this book down! Valerie and Ethan meet in college and their relationship is undefined. Ethan is elusive and immature. It was such a classic young, new romance. Val is inexperienced and naive and communication between them is nonexistent. As their feelings for each other develop, neither know how to deal with each others’ needs. Ethan has demons he’s trying to hide from Val…Val loves Ethan unconditionally, but he can’t stop hurting her…and then there’s Brad, the responsible one of the group, who loves Valerie but is trying to be honorable and stay away from her. I went through many emotions in reading this book, and Kleenex! I wanted to smack some sense into Ethan one minute and then I wanted to hug him the next. I wanted Brad to make a move - then I wanted Ethan and Val to work it out. I wanted Valerie to wake up and realize that you can’t change someone, no matter how much you love them AND sometimes what you really need (and what’s best for you) is right there in front of you, all you have to do is open your eyes!

I received this book for an honest review from the author and honest you shall get!!! I am sitting here at my computer sobbing, literally sobbing over this book. I went through a box of tissues and a packet of tums. IN-FREAKING-TENSE was this book. I am a fan of really emotional, gut wrenching, tear your heart out and stomp on it while it lays on the floor kinda books!! This book sooooooo qualifies. Val is such an amazing person who is so giving and loving but seems to be stuck in the ever emotional toxic love of Ethan. Ethan is just a true measure of addiction and doesn't appreciate Val for all she is worth. His idea of "chasing her" is screwing everything else that has a skirt on or getting so high he cant even function. This is pretty much their relationship but the addiction continues to get worse and worse as does his behavior and attitude toward her. I think the author did a great job showing the true relationship of a couple when addiction is involved. It is heart wrenching that Ethan has had emotional and physically abusive relationships but he is so self involved he has no idea he is doing the same thing to Val. There were a few scenes where I broke for Val when she was confronted by Ethan's wondering ways. I feared for her because she knows in her heart he is not a "good person" but the party scene absolutely crushed me along with her. I think, like Val, i wanted him to have some redeeming qualities.....but the party killed me. I broke for her and me at that point. Then I broke for the man I wanted to see Val with. The man who loved her, supported and cared for her even though she was stuck in this web of Ethan lies and betrayal. Well along the way Val does develop some emotionally sustaining and loving relationships. SOME I of the "relationships" I was like "you go girl!!" I loved the men who helped her through tough times with Ethan. However no matter what she would always return to Ethan. This dance goes on for a few years. I am not going to talk specifics because I will totally end up giving away the whole story BUT if you love rocker books and you love emotionally raw "real" books then this is the book for you. seriously. i cannot wait to read the books for the other band members!!!!

The journey that Val goes through is so intense. She has a hard , extreme, and emotional road, yet it all makes for an entertaining read. I thought I was going to hate the ending based on the “future” chapters. However, then ending twist changed my mind and ended up making me absolutely loving this book.

Not all flowers and roses... A great story and at times very sad as this tell the more real side of the "rock star". Great read, and all followup books just as great. Will be reading more by Jamison.

This was a fantastic book! I love the stories that bring emotional overload. Ethan... what to say about him? jerk, idiot, addict, and so much  more. All characters are well developed. I found myself liking most of them at different points in the story. Val did so much growing up throughout the book. She is a very strong person to say the least. Can't wait to read more in this series!

“Bullet: An Epic Rock Star Novel” by Jade C. Jamison 5 out of 5 stars From the first page of “Bullet” until the last, I felt like I was on an epic journey. We start with Valerie, in the present, on the cusp of a life-changing reveal, and then are swept back into the past to travel with her on the road that led her there. As a college freshman, Valerie is sheltered and inexperienced with the world at large. She is struggling to find who she is and where she fits in. Soon, she meets Ethan and he leads her to his band and starts her on her path of self-discovery and growth. I felt her every pain and her every triumph. I forgot she was a character and found myself wishing I could actually meet her. Jamison had me hanging on to every word and rooting for Valerie at every turn. The male characters where fully developed and each brought a unique relationship with Valerie to the table. Jamison’s knowledge of the “indy rock band scene” seems realistic and vast. I especially enjoyed seeing glimpses of the past mixed with glimpses of the present. I was sure I had the ending all figured out but was pleasantly surprised. Jamison’s writing style is fluid, witty, and captured my attention. I had a hard time putting the book down and I can’t wait to continue the story in the second book. These are characters that I’m happy to spend some time with. I would definitely recommend this book! *I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.* Shannon

Intense doesn't even begin to describe this story. I'm emotionally spent at the moment. You think you're about to read your typical Rock N' Roll romance, well you are wrong. This is a story of love, betrayal, and learning how to follow your heart. Love Jade C. Jamison books and this one did not disappoint. Check out this amazing story if you have a chance!

Bullet by Jade C. Jamison was a good read but I was definitely frustrated with Val’s stupid decisions and Ethan is a jerk! The book switches between past and present which I wasn’t sure at first if I liked or not. It made me feel like I knew how things would end, but was pleasantly surprised! Naïve Val goes to college and meets Ethan and they bond over their love of metal music. Ethan has his own band and the story follows Val’s encounters with Ethan and his band over a few years. It is a longer read, but if you like reading about rock stars, you’ll love it! ~Kendra with For the Love of Books

First book I've read from this author and I believe it to be very well written..was a little hard getting into it in the beginning, and well took a lot of chapters to get two particular characters to straighten up...but all in and all I found it entertaining. This was an emotional powerful trip and how can I not like a character named Val..;)  Val and the rockstar.. I knew I lived in a book. Ethan is this wild rocker.. drugs and alcohol amongst the things that surround Val.. along with a wild bunch of friends.  I found that I'd get upset some but then Brad would come into the picture with his kind soul and I'd relax.  There were some sex scenes.. Not over the top but true to form for these characters. I think this is a great read even for YA adult with parental consent.  Deals a lot of with addictions and depression.

Dont. READ! Why? Because it was confusing and stupid. The story went on forever and the main character was literally a door mat who let everyone step all over her. It was annoying to read. I always try my best to read books in full but i couldnt with this one, after the 5th chapter i just skimmed the rest. The only good thing about this book is the end. Sorry but if your not sure if you want to read this. . . Dont, its not worth it.

Loved this story because it was real and didn't candycoat anything.

Ethan and Val's story is a tough one to read. You want them to be together...it seems destined. But there is so much pain and anguish in their relationship, you just know you're in for a rough ride. The story of their ups and downs and Val's connections with the other members of the band...especially Brad...is one you'll soon realize will be the saving grace of the book. I love how Ms Jamison uses our love for the bad boy rockers to make us want his relationship with Val to work, but twists it to the point where we know it isn't right or what we should want for anyone. It's brutal and honest, but still a tale of true love, just not in the way we think it will happen. I really loved it and Ms. Jamison is one of my favorite authors.
