About the Author

Leslie Anne Wood was born in Portland Oregon and grew up in Palos Verdes California. After two years at Lewis and Clark College she transferred to Northern Arizona University where she earned a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Masters in Early Childhood Education. After teaching school for ten years she assumed the role of stay-at-home mom to guide her only child, Celeste, through her high school years and her activities as a gifted swimmer. At the present time Leslie works as a formally trained Wellness Practitioner and an author who is sharing lessons learned from several of her challenging life experiences. Leslie is an excellent public speaker and invites interviews of all kinds.
