Bullied yet Victorious

Bullied yet Victorious

by Ashley Nicole Smith

Have you ever been picked on by a teacher, professor, superintendent, principal, boss, employees, or other students? Right now, I apologize for their behavior. I don't know what this person may have done to you, but you need to know that no one deserves to be bullied, belittled, or picked on. You are absolutely precious in the sight of God and he loves you very much. You are priceless, worthy, valuable, beautiful, smart, and an overcomer, and you are victorious! Ashley Smith experienced bullying from her elementary school days through her college years. In this eye-opening account of how young people can mistreat one another, she sheds a light on the issue of bullying, particularly within the Christian community. Ashley encourages her readers to succeed and become all that God has created them to be. Her trials have taught her who she is in Christ, that what she went through was not a mistake, and that she can be victorious with God's help. Her book also issues a wake-up call to the church leaders and educators to be actively involved in preventing bullying in their communities. Bullied yet Victorious reminds readers to find their strength in Christ in whatever difficult circumstances they may endure.

Bullied Yet Victorious is a well written book and I encourage every teen should read it!!! The book is about  the bullying experiences Ashley faced when growing up but how God helped her to overcome the situations. She encourages the reader that they don't need man's approval but God's approval. In this eye opening book, Ashley encourages the reader with scriptures to help them realize that God loves them and He has plan for them according to Jeremiah 29:11. The book sheds light on the fact that bullying not only occurs in public schools, but in Christian schools as well as churches. Ashley encourages the reader to stand up and be a leader. The book is not only geared toward teens but to parents, teachers, and pastors. She mentions the importance of parents getting involved and praying over their children. Purchase today!!!! Share with teens you know who have/are dealing with bullying or low self esteem. You will not be disappointed!!!!!!

This book is a rare find. The content is well organized and relatable. The author shares her personal experiences with bullying and how she overcame the emotional scaring that merciless bullying can cause. The book leaves the reader encouraged at the end of every chapter with scriptures and words of encouragement. The author encourages the reader to be all that God has called them to be. She encourages the reader to believe what God says about them and not the bully. She acknowledges the pain bullying can cause yet directs the readers to the Healer of the broken hearted, Jesus. Definitely recommend this book to all Youth Pastors, congregations, and anyone who has suffered bullying. Ashley encourages the reader they are not alone, and challenges the church to step up and help the victims and the bully.
