This 248 page book is part of a series. I have read several of the others. I did not care very much for the last one. The heroine made demeaning remarks about over weight people, the poor and several other types of people she considered inferior. Therefore, I got a mad on at the author and vowed not to read anymore books in this series, so what did I do? I did not recognize the author or series and purchased this book. This sometimes happens when a person is a prolific reader. As soon as I started this book, I thought, "oh, dang " , but this book was so much better than the others, I had read. The editing was better and people were more likable. Other then extremely mild violence and murder, there are no adult themes. This is a nice, clean, cozy, mystery. It is chick lit, but not to the point of turning off roosters. Ages 16 and up will enjoy this book.it is a nicely written, has a great flow and some nice twists and turns. I was even surprized a few times. It is a stand alone book with a very satisfactory conclusion. Recommended to those who like a non- gory, clean, cozy read, without cursing, sex and undue violence. There is no romance, a few references to church and one remark about a gay relationship. Read and enjoy. AD
