Reviewed by Divine Zape for Readers' Favorite Business Divas That Care by Candace Gish is a compelling book that features divas from the author’s radio show. The book offers wisdom and empowering and motivational words from a variety of authors. Amy McKenzie challenges readers to distinguish the line between surviving and thriving, and to model themselves in a way that defines their perspective as choosing to thrive in “Survive or Thrive." Brenda Hammon offers insightful thoughts on the “Power of Sharing” and invites readers to influence others by going beyond themselves. Teresa Syms shares her wisdom on success and Dana Pharant discusses the power of the dominatrix with unusual clarity. One of the things that make this compilation a gorgeous read is the fact that readers encounter different authors articulating on a variety of relevant themes. The expression is personal; the language is crisp and polished, and charged with positive energy. Business Divas That Care will appear to readers as an invaluable tool to engineer the changes they need in and around them. I enjoyed the second part of this book (The Power of Being Yourself) more because the thoughts challenged me to live more fully and to embrace authenticity as a path to make more impact on others. And as Erin Best says in “Be Yourself”: “Authenticity seeds harvests like honesty, integrity, and positivity. It creates this magnetic energy you simply cannot resist.” This is a book with messages from women who are making positive changes in their lives and who are touching others positively as well. Apart from the wisdom this book imparts, readers will feel connected to women who engineer positive change, speak words that uplift others, and inspire lives. In these pages, you’ll find both the secrets of success and what it takes to live a purposeful and meaningful life. Business Divas That Care is a very highly recommended book that will surely do what Chicken Soup for the Soul has done for millions of readers.
