And that one super helpful childless friend we all have who loves to tell us we're parenting wrong. Put your kids in front of the TV and let them eat junk while you read this book and laugh your tail off. We set the bar low so you can feel better about your parenting skills. You're welcome.

There isn't a parent in the world that can say raising kids is easy but this collection of stories will certainly make moms and dads feel less like hitching a ride to Mars. Relatable and entertaining, these stories remind us that nobody is perfect and that expectation and reality rarely look anything alike. The authors selflessly reveal their own gong-show moments so we can feel normal while offering up hilarious (and practical) tips for how to win at this parenting gig (hint: you can't win). I personally loved hearing from the parents of teens and older kids, because that's where I'm heading right now with my eldest. Full speed ahead into the abyss, I go! This book gave me some genuine belly laughs and a solid reminder that as long as everyone is still alive, we are doing a-okay! A great read for parents at any stage in the game.
