About the Author
Lorraine Strohbehn grew up on a farm in southeastern Wisconsin and graduated from nurses' training at Methodist Hospital School of Nursing in Madison, Wisconsin. As the wife of a pastor, with all of its many facets, Lorraine has served the Lord as a teacher of women's classes, a conference, retreat, and banquet speaker, a Bible study leader, and as an author of four booklets: The Death of a Dream; Choices; Biblical Self-Image; and Around My Kitchen Table. She has shared with her husband, Dr. Ben Strohbehn, in their family conference ministry across the United States and around the world. Lorraine is the mother of four children, grandmother of four, and great-grandmother of two. - Brenda Strohbehn (Lorraine and Ben's youngest daughter) loves to express herself through her writing and to help others do so as well. Brenda has written and published a bride's planning manual and numerous short articles and has completed writing and editing assignments for communications firms, businesses, websites, churches, schools, and colleges. In addition to the proofreading, editing, and publishing preparation (PEP) she does through her freelance business, PEP Writing Services, Brenda is also an outsourced editor for a large print-on-demand (POD) company and proofreads for a communications firm that specializes in creating materials for the auto industry.
