Saw a review of this in the newspaper and immediately picked it up because we had just visited Iceland. I'm enjoying the irreverent main character who says what I've often wanted to say but couldn't because of the audience. This is not a mainstream American voice or "poor me my-husband-dumped-me-and-so-did-my-lover-so-my-life-has-no-meaning"story, but a refreshingly zany and honest woman's voice.
