Tristan is one of my biggest clients. He always pays on time, and he always keeps his word.

But this time, he's short on cash.

He needs the shipment now, so he offers me collateral.

He loans me his slave.

Now that Pearl and I are so close, I can't condone this type of exchange. It's wrong.

But she wants me. I can tell.

And I definitely want her.

*Buttons and Shame is told from Cane's point of view, but Crow and Pearl have their own POV's to develop the overall story**

I have loved this series since its first release and was blown away by this one. I love that there were more characters and viewpoints. Was not expecting the end.

Awesome story for Cane. He deserves happiness, but I'm a little confused on Pearl's and Crow's time line.

I thoroughly loved reading the exciting, engaging, and intriguing romance story. Cane is instantly attracted to a woman he meets briefly at an airport. Cane then makes a deal with Tristan for his slave, the woman from the airport, to keep her for thirty days until Tristan pays the rest of the money due the Barsetti's. Read the highly recommended, enthralling and captivating storyline, and the beginning of Cane's love story with his Bellissimo.

I honestly hate tristan more than bones and i didnt think that was possible. He is disgusting and gross, i cringe at the thought of adeline ever going back to him. Cane, who i orginally thought was a heartless jerk when he was so awful to pearl, has grown on me. He has just as good a heart as his brother, it was just buried down deep. I anxious to see how this story plays out in the next two books.
