Have you ever read a book that is so compelling that you could not put it down? This book fits that description. Ginny Brock tells the story of the loss of her 26 year old son, Drew. I shed tears as I felt her pain as she searched to deal with the emptiness and helplessness she felt. I smiled as she recounted the antics of Drew as a youngster and young man. I wondered as she began to reconnect with him through meditation and determination. I was awed as Drew opened the door of heaven to her and described the love and joy that awaits. This is not a mere glimpse into life after death - it is a detailed description of the Drew's new world. This book will not only comfort those who are dealing with the pain of loss, but will make everyone confident that there is no death. Life continues and we can maintain a connection with those we have lost while we are still on earth. Fabulous book -- don't miss it
What a lovely book. Ginny Brock shares her thoughts and experiences of losing her husband and son within a relatively short timeframe. This is alternatively sad, happy, reflective, desperate, uplifting and hopeful. As with all of us, the period following the loss of a loved one is traumatic and desperate. Ginny has had many amazing experiences of contact with her husband and son since their passing which can't help but raise hope in all of us who have loved and lost. I thank her for sharing her grief and giving us the hope that we too can connect with those we have lost.
