Great recipe guide and instructions. Unique drink recipes with picture how to garnish. Has been very popular with my guests. Stories are funny. Great pictures. Highly recommend for all cooks. There is something for everyone in this book.
For anyone who loves Italian cooking, learning about Italy and its wines, etc, and looking at beautiful pictures of the prepared foods, this cookbook is most satisfying. It would make a great gift for your favorite cook.
Just looking at the cover (& the back) pulls you in--"Adventure awaits." Do not even begin to read the recipes until you have soaked in all the pictures--take the time to look at each one. Savor each one. Put yourself in each one. Then examine the chapters one by one: appetizers, pasta, fish, meat, and desserts. Be sure to note the presentation of the finished recipe. Lots of stories behind the recipes are shared. There are even many "how-to's" so the amateur cook can keep up. Can't wait to see this Top Chef on TV again. This is a book that you will enjoy perusing many times and always see something new. You will feel that making the effort to prepare true Italian cooking is very worthwhile.
