They were moving to a new town and while Charlotte and her dad didn¿t want to make a trip back, they stayed at a campsite. Charlotte meets Liam there after getting lost and her flashlight no longer worked. Something was drawing her to him and his scent was overwhelming. What was it that was attracting her to him? Why was he following her and now showing up at her new school and home? She had been bitten by what she thought was a dog when she was younger but that wasn¿t the case. Her senses were sharper and there was something more to Liam than she knew. Danger lurked in all corners for them and with her friend Ty and Liam¿s brother Aaron, all was going to change. This was a cute story about how Charlotte was fated to be something else. I enjoyed reading it.

I received this book from YA Bound Book Tours in return for a fair and honest review. There are parts of this book that I really enjoyed and yet parts where I thought I was going to physically hurt myself, I was rolling my eyes so much. Now I know that in a lot of the YA books, the parents fade into the background but in this one, it was almost crazy how NOT there they were. Even at the start - they're in the middle of a new place, in a forest, at night, with 3 drinking burly men and her dad is fine with her wandering around by herself, even though she takes a while. And when she gets visitors during the night and has a conversation, her dad doesn't wake up. Wow, those tent walls must be thick! There is a big dose of insta-love/insta-best friends in this book and secrets are spilled very quickly, almost as quickly as the belief in the impossible. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed this book but insta-love is a big turn-off for me personally. The story was interesting and you know that there is a twist coming but you're not sure what. The characters were well described although you don't know much about any of them apart from Liam and Charlotte. The plot moves quickly and stutters and jerks in places. Some of it could have done with more development, more history to it but on the whole, it moves quite well. A fast read recommended for fans of werewolves.

I am enjoying this book a lot. I have a hard time putting it down. I haven't found a book yet like that for awhile. I highly recommend it.

Rachel Deagan has written a great werewolf story. I really enjoyed all her characters, both main and subcharacters. Liam , the male lead, I really liked him. I loved the way he would put his head on the side, very animalistic. It is pretty clear to the reader what Liam and his buddies are early into the story. I enjoyed the playfulness of Byron, the twins Flynt and Eldridge and the little guy, Steve. I think the mystery lies in Charlotte. Rachel has written her tale with a little bit of a twist and I liked it. Charlotte and her father are moving to Maplefield. We don't meet Charlotte's mum in this book we only meet her father who is now Maplefield's newest doctor. Charlotte doesn't know who to trust, she wants to trust Liam, the guy she met at the campsite she stayed, with her father , but there are some missing pieces, so she and Ty go all Nancy Drew in their endeavour to find some answers. Charlotte can't shake feeling watched...... paranoia? Taylor Jacobs aka Ty is a great new bff to Charlotte. Charlotte likes to keep to herself , she is still reliving in her mind an attack by a dog who bit her when she was five. Ty is good for Charlotte, but I was intrigued by Ty's necklace. Charlotte has a great sense of smell and some things just aren't adding up, especially when Liam is around. Liam is a gorgeous , caring guy who has this immediate attraction to Charlotte. I think even he was trying to make sense of it. Why did he feel so drawn to her? Charlotte was sending mixed signals to him and she didn't even know it. I am intrigued to see where Rachel takes this series. Liam and his pack are a great bunch of characters and they all love Charlotte. Rachel has definitely ended this book with a whole new direction . I enjoyed ALL the character's , I haven't mentioned them, for that would be spoiling, but I am interested to read more about a certain character.

Great debut novel, Rachel Deagan's forcing my inner wolf to scream for more! When I first saw the book cover, I was wondering if I should try this book. The cover is pretty and I really like the black wolf: not sure if I should trust him or not! I love the fact that we can't see the details of this mysterious wolf and I was drawn to it at first sight! THEN, I read the blurb and I was done. When I got the opportunity to read it, I wasn't able to take off my eyes of the lines. I started it on friday night and sunday afternoon, I was done with the book! The storyline is so enthralling and all the mystery around Charlotte even Liam and the rest of the pack was super intriguing. The author: Rachel Deagan, always find the right moment/word/sentence to make the reader eager to want more. The way the story is writen, the reader doesn't have the choice: they have to read it! Charlotte, the main character, seems to have a normal teenage kind of life but when she's moving with her family in a new town, she'll meet a strange guy, Liam, and everything about him isn't what it seems! Strange things happening around her and surprisingly, Liam and his friends always seems to be around went something is wrong! Wonder why! I love the interaction between Liam and Charlotte. Liam is hiding something from Charlotte and he's evasive on every subject, leading Charlotte to be more intuitive and on her gardes! The plot was one of the best I read in 2012, for an YA book. I was so into this mystery, trying to uncover the true before the main character, I was so wrong!!! So I give my surprising eyes wide open for the thrilled action pack plot! Ok actually, this one really freaks me out!!! The relation between Charlotte and Liam is slow but still present, even if Charlotte is a little afraid of what Liam could be. I give my candy floss love for this one! And I got both here: eyes wide open and candy floss!!! The ending was interesting and not what I suspected, but not someting I never read. I hope there's another book on the way!!! If you're a werewolf/shifter lovers, YA paranormal romance lovers: this book is for you! BUY, try it, at least put it on your TBR pile!!!

“Maybe you shouldn’t kiss me,” I whispered. “I’d rather die.” My chest swelled and every wall in me crumbled. I have not read a book in one sitting for along (long long long) time. I am so beyond happy to say that Caged Moon was amazing, and guess what? I read it in one sitting, this book had me by the throat and would not let me go until I finished it! Caged Moon follows Charlotte, when Charlotte was little she was attacked by an animal. Ever since then things haven’t been normal for her. Now that she is older she feels different, like she doesn’t belong or fit in with other girls and boys her age. On top of that she has wolves following her, at least she is pretty sure they are. Charlotte thinks she is losing her mind about these wolves, but when she meets a mysterious boy named Liam in the woods, everything slowly starts to make sense. Liam is helping her find out about herself..but what happens when the one helping you, may be the one after you… This read blew me away! I love werewolf stories, but sadly out of all the werewolf novels I have read I have only found TWO series I like! I am so happy that I now have THREE! Caged Moon was a breath taking story of love, suspense, mystery, action, and finding one’s self. There were two things I loved about this story most, first off I loved the characters. Characters are a huge deal to me in books, if I can’t connect with the characters or I don’t like the characters then the story is going to be a completely dud for me no matter how great everything else is. Caged Moon had some great characters! Charlotte I felt was really likeable, I felt sorry for how she felt so out of place around other people, but then when she met Ty, Liam and his friends I was jumping with joy that she found some friends that made her feel normal! Liam who is the lover boy of this book was amazing!!! He is deff one of my new lit crushes, I loved his snarky yet sweet and cocky personality! Ty who is Charlotte’s best friend was also awesome, I loved how she was so understanding of Charlotte and really just wanted what was best for her. Besides Liam and Charlotte though, one of my favorite characters was Byron, I thought he was hilarious! All together I think Rachel put together some amazing characters, I’m not sure if Caged Moon is a series or not, but if it is I cannot wait to see more of these guys in book two! The second thing I loved was the unique-ness of the story. Sadly I can’t really go into detail about this because it will give away the whole mystery part of the story, and I for one will not ruin such an awesome factor for you guys if you plan to pick it up! (which you totally should). Let me just say that most werewolf stories are the same concept, and that Caged Moon had a different fresh new take that was amazing. Now I feel bad that this review is more of a ‘fan girl’ review, but honestly I am still just so excited that I finally found another book that was able to practically force me to keep reading it until I finished it. Caged Moon was a delightful read from beginning to end, and left me crossing my fingers hoping that this will be a series!
