I was privileged to get an advanced copy of this book. It is wonderfully written and gives a lot of history and background to Louisiana Cajun & Creole cooking. The book has lots of wonderful recipes in it. I've shown it to several friends from New Orleans and had them ask me if a particular recipe was in it. I am proud to say that 98% of the recipes I was asked about were in the book, which means that there are many favorite New Orleans treats for everyone included in the book.
