A warmhearted story about a child that is drawn into a series of mini-adventures and experiences - all when she happens to stub her toe! The descriptions are beautifully woven and geared to mould the young mind while encouraging them to see beauty and levity even in painful or adversarial situations. There is even a cute surprise at the end!

My neighbor recommended I get this book for my little girl because her son loved it. Can You Fix Sam's Toe is a wonderful childrens book. My daughter absolutely loves Sam's character, and I love reading her the book. I would definitely recommend this book to many mom or dad looking for a new book for their child. It's a must read!

I got this book for my 3 year old baby cousin and he loved it. He was giggling and really engaged for the most part. Now if only I could get him to stop acting like he hurt his toe for an adventure!

This is a very well-written book. Shiv employs excellent use of language and illustrations to capture the attention of children. My four year old daughter loves this book and begs me to read it every night as her bedtime story.

This is a great children's book that I read to my sister all the time! She loves the playful nature of the book and i'm sure others will too. I cannot wait to see what the author has in store next. I would definitely recommend this novel to anyone who has little children.
