This is a masterpeice of thrilling horror. I have no idea why I keep wanting to compare it to Stephen King's It but I do (I hate using Stephen King as the touchstone of horror writing). I also would have to say that this would make one hell of a 3D horror movie that would scare the crap out of millions of viewers and I don't think it would take much imagination to make a screen adaptation (except for what needed to be cut to fit it into 120mins of action). The action is almost none stop, allowing you a quick breather to put it down and have nightmares of snakes in Canals. It has a bit of steam, a lot of gore and everything a monster horror novel needs. You can't go wrong loading this onto your Nook, just be glad they have come out with a 3D reader yet or this story will jump out and eat you! Final Score: 5(1st Impressions)+3 (Editing)+10 (Overall Story)=18/20 (????? )
