Candy had just gotten divorced from her cheating ex-husband and her friends talked her into going on a cruise to celebrate. She had a one-night-stand with Cleve and left the ship before the end of the cruise so she wouldn't have to face him.  She thought that was the end of it until she walked into work after her vacation and found Cleve was her new boss! AND she sees he has on a wedding ring!   Cleve tries to talk to Candy and wants to see her but she won't have anything to do with him because she doesn't want to be the 'other' woman. Nash is Cleve's twin brother who comes to visit him in his office.  It's pretty funny (well maybe not so much) when Julianne believes him to be Cleve and is hugging him when Cleve walks in! The characters in this novel were uniquely developed. I felt I really got to know and like Cleve and Julianne as well as all the secondary characters. This was a very well written novel letting the reader clearly picture all the scenes and drama.  It left me chuckling, crying and wishing for Cleve and Julianne to work everything out. I am so glad that I won this book in a giveaway and I am looking forward to reading other books from this author.

Candy was feeling pretty shattered after her divorce so her friends talked her into going on a cruise to help get over her cheating ex hubby. She never expected to meet anyone or to have a sordid one night stand and was glad that she would never have to run into the guy again – even though it was the best sex she had ever had. Imagine her horror when everywhere she turns, there he is! It wasn’t meant to be like this and Candy is struggling with the deep feelings she develops for this man against the feelings of betrayal – that she has discovered he is married. Or is he? The story totally drew me in and I felt a myriad of emotions as I read – I couldn’t put it down. I felt their pain and anguish and my stomach was tied in knots a lot of the time. I cried my eyes out during a couple of scenes and kept my fingers crossed that Candy would find her happy ending. The love scenes were heart-warming and sensual and very well written. I am looking forward to reading the other books from this author.
