About the Author

My love of reading romance fiction goes back to those early years when I was raising a young family. It wasn't until much later in life I actually took up the pen to write. I wish I could have gotten to this point in my career much sooner rather than later but, life simply got in the way far too many times. I know because of those detours I have become a more passionate and expressive writer because I can draw upon those painful moments in my past when I need to create the kind of raw human emotion I want my readership to feel. My wish is that my readers walk away with not just an entertaining read but the importance in knowing, "Without imagination & dreams, we lose the excitement of wonderful possibilities." PLEASE leave a review to help others discover my work. I would be so very appreciative.

This book is about High School Sweethearts Jennifer Moore is a first grade teacher who loves her students like they are her own. Jennifer is a very kind, smart & loving woman, who would do anything for her students and friends. Jennifer is having story time with her students when the princpal comes to her room to ask her to come outside for a chat, little did she know that she would run into the one person she hasn’t spoken to in years and the one person that stole her heart. Steven Logan. Steve Logan is a intelligent guy but when it comes to matters of the heart he is a bit of a fool. He found the love of his life when he was in high school but going to different colleges broke them apart and they haven’t spoken in years until the day he took his son for his first day of first grade and his son’s teacher is not only than Jennifer Moore the person who stole his heart and never gave it back. Karen Eastwood is Joshua’s mother, didn’t want Joshua so gave up her rights and is a drug addict but when she finds out what Steven does for a living she makes a plan to get money out of him. She likes to have money because she came from money. She bleeds dry every guy she goes out with and once they have nothing left she throws them away like trash. When Jennifer and Steven meet again they know that they never stopped loving each other and not they can’t live without each other. Joshua loves Jennifer and doesn’t want to lose her. Steven will do anything to protect what he has and when Karen comes into the picture he puts everything into place that he thinks will protect them. Until the day they don’t come home and he doesn’t know where they are and he thinks the worst has happened and it has. This book is a love story of two high school sweethearts finding each other again and never wanting to let go after all these years of being apart. The title of the book says it all. You can’t help but fall in love with the person you are meant to be with.

This one maybe the favorite one in the series. Again it wasn't drawn out but also wasnt rushed. Definitely a real life type of story. Had me on the edge of my seat. I love that the female characters are strong independent women.

Pretty sure I sound like a broken record by now, but I really, really love this series by Cynthia Roberts. My biggest gripe about romance novels is how frustratingly frustrating they are! I'm sure you have read some books like that, right? They just drag on and on, and before the book is through, you're wishing you could shake the characters until their teeth rattle, right? Me too. The reason that I love Cynthia Robert's books so much is because they are such a satisfying read. She never wastes any time in introducing the characters to each other or getting their story off the ground. And while there is usually a problem or rough circumstance that befalls the characters (what good story doesn't have a problem to overcome?) the situation always resolves in such a gratifying way. CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE was one of those books that I just couldn't put down. I was so invested in the characters and couldn't help but wonder how things would turn out for them. I have also thoroughly enjoyed the romantic song titles of each book in this series so far, and seeing how they apply to each new story and set of characters. If you are looking for a book to cozy up with, grab anything written by Ms. Roberts. Grab your favorite mug of coffee or tea, settle in and enjoy!
