I loved the meshing of the two characters and their men that we LOVE! I felt it was too quick of a plot and when through fast but it was a good read. I enjoy the fun characters and the things they get in to.

It was a little on the short side but it was a fun melding of two worlds. I would not recommend it if you haven't read Fright Court or the Jane Madison books first.

The way the author, links this book into the Jane Madison series is magical to say the least.

Having read the whole Jane Madison series, I really liked seeing this character again - and giving her someone (Sarah Anderson from "Fright Court") that she can empathize with (about their new supernatural lifes). I hope Ms Klasky gives us more of these two characters together!!!

I enjoyed the book. It is a novella/short-story type of thing. Kinda a snippet of two characters, Sarah from "Fright Court" and Jane from Magic and the Modern Girl. I suspect readers not familiar with the characters would not enjoy. I read ebook version which has about 70% story and then extras including generous excerpts from author's other books. Very unlikely to be pivotal to either character or series.

Wonderful meshing of the characters from two different series....Fright Court and the Jane Madison Series. You do need to have read both series first, in order to understand the inner turmoils of both Jane and Sarah, but this novella then seamlessly brings both stories forward.

As a HUGE fan of the Jane Madison series, I was over the (full) moon to discover that there was a new story to devour. I was even more excited to find out that it is a cross-over, featuring not one but two fabulous heroines.
If you love books and magic (and who doesn't)and funny, clever writing (seriously, who doesn't?) you are going to love this latest from Mindy Klasky.
