CAPTAIN YURIKO KUMAGE and her colleague, COLONEL JOHN MAX, are recalled when on leave by JDF Commander-in-Chief, Renhou, to complete a mission that they thought had been accomplished. The reason: a Class Nine conical singularity appears intermittently above a section of Tokyo International Airport (aka: Haneda Airport), and ejects human-sized reptilian endoparasitoids from the Fourth Dimension. The nuisance compels the JDF to mandate Operation Rigid Fox. To administer the order, Kumage and Max are chosen as the hunted because the captain's special weapon-her diamond butterfly pendant-attracts these uninvited creatures toward her.
However, the breach itself must be severed because something bigger is about to return. Thus to defend Kantou Prefecture, the JDF constructs the eighty meter tall Robo Kong which requires a pilot-the return of Captain Yuriko Kumage to fight alongside her teammates, the JDF Birds of Prey!
