It is an early thirties, blondish woman driving. She is alone. It jerks to a stop.
I smile. "Welcome to nowhere, seems like you’re having some trouble." I say. She has a pained smile on her lips and I see her give an exaggerated exhale and a little pound on the steering wheel. She gets out and closes the door. And walks over towards me, looking into the garage as if trying to deduce if this is where she wants her problem solved. Her gaze stops and her breath catches. I look over my shoulder and see she is looking at the wrist restraints I left hanging from one of the chains in the garage.
