Jeffrey Sussman is a young Ivy League graduate struggling to come of age in the high-pressure world of mergers and acquisitions. I read this book on the recommendation of a friend of mine. As an Ivy League educated investment banker, I thoroughly enjoyed the author's descriptions of his main character's working environment. As a woman I was particularly captived by Jeffrey Sussman's reflections on his girlfriend and their relationship. The author must be quite special to create such fabulous boyfriend material!
Andrew Cowen's keen powers of observation of both people and places add depth and interest to this fast paced thriller. The author's intelligent wit enhances the enjoyment of this well crafted story. I look forward to his next book.
