So often, I'm so, so disappointed with the new American Girl Dolls and their stories; I feel like they don't contain the same spirit and love as the original stories such as Molly or Kaya. But Caroline's stories knocked it out of the water! Exciting, sweet, adventurous, clever, and entertaining, these books reminded me of the older ones, and the illustrations were gorgeous. My one complain was that there wasn't enough illustrations. There were little drawings on each page, but the beautiful, full page ones were few. Still gorgeous though!
