Overview

Casey Kasem: Driving in the 70s is skimpy and somewhat arbitrary in its selections. Even if you are paying a budget price for the disc, there's really no reason why it should contain only ten songs (less than 40 minutes of music). Some of the featured selections include Kenny Rogers' "She Believes in Me," Bread's "Make It with You," Gerry Rafferty's "Baker Street," Joe Cocker's "The Letter," and Linda Ronstadt's "When Will I Be Loved." Each song was a hit during the decade in question, sure, but not all of them are best-suited for cruising, and the odds are pretty good that you'll see at least a handful of better options if you're browsing through an average record store.
