I keep saying crime thrillers are not "my genre," but I'm finding that I thoroughly enjoy some of them - this being one. But "Csstle Cape" may not be a typical crime thriller. There is a current mystery and an historical mystery to keep your interest. A good book.

Enjoyed this book would like to find more by this writer, hope more are coming, my only complaint was the "nook" page numbering. It looked like it was rushed to get the nook reader out to market. Thanks and looking for more by CL Withers.

The plot was excellent, but the characters were a bit wooden.

Some very nice twists & turns. Not for someone squeamish. Am looking to see if there are more books with this detective.

Very interesting book right from the beginning. Not overkill on the police jargon, just enough to keep you there. Good flow and character development. I loved Nero!

I could not get past the first few pages. I do not enjoy reading how somebody kills with a knife. Yuck. So, if you like that sort of thing read on. If not, dont get it.

Read only the free start on here but would probably be a good book if it had been through an editor first (at least been proofread).  The typos and classic errors that inevitably accompany a self=published work are all there - such a pity that yet another author spends so much time writing but fails to go that extra step and polish the piece by letting a professional work on it before publishing.
