One hot mess. One hot boss. One too many hot encounters...

It’s not you. It’s me.
No, seriously. It is me. Not only does my name literally mean “unfortunate,” but that’s the story of my life.
Everything I touch turns to crap. An apartment fire—that I swear I was not responsible for—means I’m living back at home with my sex-mad parents. Yay, me!
Which is why I need my new job as personal assistant to Cameron Reid to get back on my feet. Three months in this job and I can move back out and, hopefully, remember to turn off my flat iron once in a while.
On paper, my job is easy. Make coffee. Book appointments. Keep everything in order.
Until I walk in on my boss, half-naked, wearing nothing but the kind of tiny white towel that dreams are made of.
Now, nothing is easy—except our mutual attraction. But he’s my boss, and you know what they say about mixing work and pleasure: unless you do porn, it’s just not worth it.
Or is it?

Catastrophe Queen is exactly what you would expect from Emma Hart. Hilariously fun, and sexy. Just don’t read this in public, or while you’re eating. Cause you will be laughing and laughing out loud. Mallory is a walking disaster. She’s at a pretty low point in her life. Searching for a new job and dealing with her hilariously crazy family. Cameron is just utterly perfect. There wasn’t one bad quality that he had. He took to Mallory because I mean it’s Mallory. She may be a walking disaster. But she’s an adorable walking disaster. This story was written well, and It had all the heart. That’s what I love about reading any of Hart’s stories. You know that it will have you laughing out loud and having a good time. The characters you’ll connect with. You’ll have no problem reading them all through the night. Overall, I give this Five Boundless Stars

Mallory is a walking disaster not only to herself but to everyone she comes into contact with and she completely owns it. After an apartment fire that couldn’t possibly be her fault, she finds herself unemployed and moving back in with her parents. She needs to get her own place as quickly as possible however almost getting hit by her potential boss’s car is bound to make quite the impression. Cameron is wealthy, successful and oh so sexy! He knows that he needs to stay far away from Mallory and the damage that seems to follow her, but he finds her adorable and appreciates the fun and laughter she brings to his office and life. I loved these two characters. Mallory is such a klutz that her antics will have you laughing out loud and if you didn’t know Cameron you might think he was stuffy, but he not only accepts that she is the Catastrope Queen but embraces it. Full of humorous banter, off the wall characters and great chemistry this romantic comedy is sure to bring a smile to your face.

Emma's speciality feels like it's writing a scene stealing relative. She's really good at it. Once again the female lead is snarky but cute. The male is charming but a bit arrogant. It's a go-to formula for the author but it always works for her.

Getting the job as a personal assitant is what exactly Melanie needs. Until she finds out, her boss is the one who almost ran her over...which was her fault. Will Melanie be able to keep her job, or will her clumsiness cause her to ruin everything? Catastrophe Queen is hilarious. Melanie is sassy but fun and every quick. Cameron is gorgeous, knows how much of a sweetheart Melanie is and loves her family!

Holy hot fudge sundae. Emma Hart has only gone and done it again! I love the hype that comes with an Emma Hart new release. It gets me so excited and this beauty didn’t disappoint! After Tequila Tequila I didn’t think it was possible to beat but Mallory is one sassy chick and I love Cameron. He is definitely new book boyfriend material. Mallory is a walking disaster. If first impressions were everything this girl would stick in your mind for the wrong reasons. She’s moved back home and currently looking for a new job. Her recent set of interviews offer the promise of an office job. The problem is her new boss. He may or may not have seen her dirty laundry. Cameron Reid is a rich, sexy bachelor with a mind for business and a body to die for. Nobody’s boss should be that good looking but what does a little eye candy hurt? The problem is these two have already met and Mallory is more than the average assistant. She will spill your coffee but won’t leave you hanging. Mallory is a fun loveable character. She’s clumsy but adorable. She’s the perfect assistant but you have to learn her quirks. Cameron and Mallory gel. He really is perfect. This is a romantic comedy. It’s funny (no cringe-worthy moments), it’s loveable and sweet. Mallory is a True Crime and nacho kind of girl. Cameron wants someone with character and sass. This is a great combination. This is a slow burn romance even though it’s set over a short period of time. Mallory is hardworking and tries her hardest not to be a klutz. Her personality is fun but not over barring. I love this book! 5 out of 5.

I swear every character she writes I always say they are my spirit animal. Mallory is no different. Shes a hot mess & I absolutely love it. Her family is absolutely ridiculous that had me hysterical. I love the friendship between Jade & Mallory. Cameron is just swoon worthy. Seriously a hot boss. His mom made me roll my eyes here & there but I liked her at the end. This is a quick, wonderful read. There's a slow burn which kinda frustrated me (most slow burns do) but I still truly enjoyed it. Another fantastic book by this author!!

If you're ever in need of a good laugh, and I mean the actual laugh-out-loud kind, pick up a book from Emma Hart. She never fails to touch my heart, brighten my day, and give me even more characters I wish were my best friends. First off, Mallory is my spirit animal and we would 100% be BEST friends in real life. Why, you ask? "Pizza and serial killers are the way to your heart?" "Actually nachos and serial killers are, but I'm not sure you can get nachos delivered." ALL. OF. THIS. IS. ME. Seriously, though, Mallory is ... well, the catastrophe queen for sure, but she loves nachos, has a lovably dysfunctional family, and is an intelligent person. What's not to like? She seems to win over the heart of everyone she encounters, which would be an amazing trait to possess. This story was more of a "slow burn" than I've read in a little while. DON'T WORRY! The exciting bits are still there, trust me, but I really enjoyed these characters taking their time to get to know each other, even if that wasn't quite their intentions at first. I'm all about some good steamy scenes, but for me I really love the lead up. This book kind of pulled me out of a funk I've been in for the past few weeks. It made me genuinely laugh, gave me a world that pulled me into it, introduced some real and fantastic characters, as well as gave me another story full of the hope of love. Definitely recommended as a read to start off your 2019!

I absolutely love books that's going to make smile and laugh throughout it. I knew going in that's what I'd get with this because we have all that friend that can be Mallory or maybe it's you. A little klutzy but with a heart of gold. I freaking laughed at the interactions with her family, her Great Aunt, Grandpa, mom and dad. Like literally laugh out loud, cringe kind of thing. Honestly, just thinking about some of the situations brings a smile to my face. There wasn't any drama, just a light-hearted, laugh out loud, slow burn kind of book that does your heart good to read.

When I say that I know exactly what I'm getting with an Emma Hart release, it's a good thing. Because, queen of the rom-com that she is, Emma always delivers with a story chock-full of giggles, snorts, lols, and, yes, the sizzle. CATASTROPHE QUEEN, her latest romantic comedy, satisfies at every level, with klutzy, lovable Mallory and her new boss, Cameron Reid, stealing my heart page by page. One of the things I love best about Emma's books is that her heroines are smart and full of sass, and aren't afraid to use it. Mallory may be less than graceful, but she can absolutely hold her own with Cameron. And since he's not just a rich guy with a pretty face, once Cameron sees what Mallory brings to the table, the wick is lit and the slow burn to happiness begins. Whether you're already a fan of Emma's books (and, if not, WHY not?!) or a first-time reader, CATASTROPHE QUEEN will hit the spot. Make a point to grab this sweetly sexy book and enjoy.

Maybe closer to 4.5 stars, but I'll round up. Now, I have loved everything I have read by this author so far. This one did not disappoint! It started off immediately making me laugh out loud as I read. While I am not clumsy like this main character, so much else about her reminded me of myself, and that is usually what helps me get into the story. While there were lots of laughs throughout the story, there was a bit in the middle when I wasn't quite as invested as I've been in the other books by this author. Not sure why, just felt a little bit out of it. But further into the story, getting sucked into the craziness of Mallory's family, not to mention loving Cameron's as well, I was hooked once again, and couldn't tear myself away. Once again I was won over by the hilarious banter and witty dialogue, steamy romance, and the sweet perfection of the man we are meant to fall in love with. I still think it would be a blast to hang out with this author some day, and hope one day I get the chance to meet her and totally fangirl!

Catastrophe Queen is a standalone rom/com by Emma Hart. Mallory Harper is a 25 year old woman and a walking disaster. She's too much. Too clumsy- a total klutz, too high maintenance but at the other side her catastrophes are highly entertaining. Cameron is her new boss and he has no clue what's waiting for him. Because Mallory doesn't finds disaster, disaster finds her every single time. Catastrophe Queen is a fast paced, high energy read that had me glued to the pages. I read the book, cover to cover, in one sitting, I simply couldn't put it down. I loved the storyline and the excellent writing and give 4,5 stars.

5 'Hurricane' stars. I always know I can get a good laugh with an Emma Hart book and Catastrophe Queen certainly provided me with plenty of them. With Mallory, as the klutzy, accident-prone heroine and hot stud muffin Cameron as our hero, there really was only one thing to do. Laugh. Cry tears of hilarity. Mallory has a certain way about her, as does her attitude prone family, so living with her parents was a noisy, crazy and humorous experience, for the reader at least. Mallory make have had a different idea on how all that went down. She wants out of her mom and dad’s house after all, so do we really need to guess the answer to that? But, like I said, she’s a klutz and accidents just can’t stop happening around her. Including on the day she first met her soon to be new boss. And it only got worse from there on out. But, with some snarky, sexy banter and an attraction that won’t quit, these two will just have to find a way to be together. It might seem like opposites attract but they shouldn’t act on it. But where would the fun be in that! Yet another light-hearted, witty and winsome rom/com from the author who knows who to write them best. One-Click yours today.

This was another fantastic read by Emma Hart! Low drama, lots of laughs, and the banter between, well, pretty much every character was beyond entertaining. I loved how down to earth Cameron is, and that money didn’t make him a jerk. Mallory was perfect for him, with her clutzy ways. This was a great read I would highly recommend!!

Another fabulous rom-com from Emma, I've always got a smile on my face after reading one of her books and this is no exception - a sweet, fun, adorable and quirky read! Mallory is a klutz of epic proportions, nothing and no one is safe around her, including herself. She's had to move back home to her sex mad parents and is looking for a new job - working in a real estate office seems to be the most promising when she literally runs into her new boss in the most unattractive way! Cameron is rich and sexy and runs the family real estate business, his new assistant is proving to be more than just beautiful and a quick learner, she's a whirlwind of disaster waiting to happen, coffee and Mallory don't mix!! Mallory and Cameron and the perfect match, they really do get on well, the banter between them was great fun. Mallory is a great character, funny and adorable, I loved her!! Cameron is sweet, hot and sexy and very down to earth, a real catch! This is a slow burn read that really worked well, funny and sweet, with Emma's signature crazy family members, this makes for a delightful read!

***ARC Provided by the Author*** I laughed, a lot, while reading this book. And, while this was definitely a story about the relationship with Mallory and Cameron, can we all just chat about her family for a second? No spoilers here, but really, hilarious is the only word that comes to mind for her family...or nuts. That one works too. This was more of a slow burn than I was expecting. But, not in a bad way and there was a lot of time spent with the developing friendship, which made the relationship work well once they decided to go from boss and assistant to dating. Emma Hart's characters are always quirky, but still manage to feel like real people. This was no exception. I also love that, in her books, the quirky one is adored by the one who is a little more "normal" without the other wanting to change them. It makes it feel like this is a story about 2 people who were meant to be. I enjoyed and recommend this title.

So I was excited yet again when I saw that there was a new book from Emma Hart. She became one of my go to rom-com authors after I read her Holly Wood series, that is one of my favs, loved loved loved it and was sad when it ended, I am still in hopes that she pops up with something from that series just to touch base (Emma can you hear me?!?!) Anyhoo so in this one we meet Mallory who my friends is a hot mess but we love because she was funny and tragic and luckily for her she meet Cameron who just happens to end up being her hot boss, and he loves himself some klutzy Mallory. Her family was hilarious, the whole book was great, I don't want to give you too much but do yourself a favor and please grab a copy and as always my friends Enjoy! Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..Voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.

Catastrophe Queen by Emma Hart was an adorable rom-com. I loved the way that Emma created these characters. It was a beautiful story and it brought me back to the epic love stories that she has written in the past. I want all the feels and all the romance. Cameron and Mallory are such a cute couple. They meet in a fun way and it is quite predictable. Even then I still enjoyed it. Cameron is the boss and I love those kinds of romances. Mallory is his new assistant so they see each other a lot. Of course, Mallory is a catastrophe at every turn. She trips on air and her antics are hilarious. Cameron is very attentive and their interactions are brilliant. This book is a quick read that will have you smiling the whole time. The characters are great and the story is fun! I recommend it.

Mallory is wonderfully quirky, funny and sassy. Her world has spun off it’s axis and she finds herself without a job and living at home. It seems that if something will go wrong for someone, Mallory is typically the target. When she finally lands that job she desperately needs, she never expects the man she is working for to be the one who almost ran her over. Cameron is struck by the natural beauty of his new assistant and the sense that he has seen her before. I loved how this relationship grew and was truly enhanced by Hurricane Mallory. Cameron is a perfect counterpoint for her as he learns how to handle all of her antics. The slow burn was perfect and allowed me to enjoy all the crazy moments that Mallory delivers. Add to this her ‘no-filter’ family and well, I got a laugh out loud, fun, sexy romance to devour. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

What an incredible light and refreshing book. I found myself laughing out loud at the klutzy and hot mess tendencies of Mallory. Cameron - just yum- was a great character too and I love their families. All the dynamics felt so realistic to me and interactions similar to my family or my friend's families. Truly my soul is lighter after reading this.

This book is another smashing hit by Emma Hart . I loved every minute of this. I'll be honest an say I was Mallory 10 years ago. I loved her quirkiness, her flamboyant mouth and her clumsiness. I loved her attitude even with all the misfortune she's been having lately she just didn't give up. As for Cameron; holy mother off all that is hot…that man can have me any day of the week. I loved the chemistry between him and Mallory. And don’t even get me started on the banter – LOLing from beginng to end. I know we often hear people refer to Emma Hart as the queen of rom-com’s and boy does this slow burn rom-com prove just that. BRILIANT 5* from me :)

I absolutely loved this story. The characters were awesome and the story perfect. We meet Cameron and Mallory in this hilariously romantic book. Once i started i was not able to stop. The banter between the two main characters was so epic. But the conversations between Mallory’s family was out of this world. I laughed through out the whole book. Definitely entertaining. This is a 5 star book that mustn’t be missed.

4.5 stars Well this was such a fun story to read! I finished reading with a big smile on my face! I just loved the characters, Mallory was a breath of fresh air with her quirky ways and especially quirky family! Cameron was the dream boat man! Oh boy you could literally feel the sizzling tension!!! Lol The banter was flirtatious, witty and sometimes gave me such a laugh that I snorted! It was a refreshing book that was easy to read and you come out of it feeling rather good! I can highly recommend this entertaining story that will have you laughing at the antics of the characters! Well done to the author on writing such a great book!!

Laugh Out Loud Heaven! This was a delightfully sweet and absolutely hilarious romantic comedy that was filled with sassy, witty banter, loads of laughter as well as epic entertaining times, that kept me smiling and laughing through most of this book. This is my first story by Emma Hart and I can’t wait to read more, more, more of her stories. Mallory is without a doubt a klutz, knocking over coffee cups, tripping over air, are an everyday experience. Currently she is living back at home with her parents, after losing her job and her apartment burned down, possibly due to a straightening iron, being left on. When she finally gets through an interview that wasn’t an epic fail, she almost gets hit by a car that is driven by a absolute hunk. Cameron Reid ran his family’s real estate company. He has been having problems with finding an assistant, since his ex-assistant didn’t return after maternity leave. When Cameron comes in to meet his new assistant, he finds that it is the beautiful woman that he almost ran over the day before. The chemistry between them is sizzling, but the craziness of all that is Mallory doesn’t seem to really faze him. At least she can do the job and is quite good at it, especially with all of his demanding clients. And that is due to having to put up with her crazy but hilarious great aunt, grandfather and her parents. But soon their attraction can’t be ignored and although dating your boss is not something you should do Mallory and Cameron just can’t say no. So hang on to your seats as well as your stomach as these two will keep you entertained and laughing throughout this book. Sweet, Sexy, and Hilariously Funny! I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Mallory Harper is hotter than a hot mess, in fact, those around her give her quite the wide berth, never knowing when Mallory’s next catastrophe will occur, and now that her life has basically imploded and she finds herself back at her parents’ house and in desperate need of a job, and while Mallory works to get her life back on track, continuing to stumble a time or two, she falls head over heels, literally and figuratively in lust with the man who just so happens to be her new boss. The fact that Mallory is Cameron Reid’s personal assistant may help her professional career, but personally, it’s just one more awkward situation for her to endure because not only is Cameron Reid easy on the eyes, but he’s also a friendly, flirtatious, and easy going guy, which means that she’s finding it extremely difficult to not want to see her off-limits boss outside of the office, especially when it’s more than obvious the attraction is more than mutual. Mallory represents all women in some respects because we all are prone to be out of our minds at times as well as a walking disaster full of Jekyll and Hyde emotions. It’s these qualities that allow readers to connect with her and understand her crazy antics and quirky demeanor. Mallory and Cameron’s connection is a bit of a slow burn despite their mutual attraction, but this is the perfect approach for these two because there’s a lot on the line and both need to be ready for a relationship that can last and not be a point of contention due to the fact that they’re employee/employer. Emma Hart’s trademark hilarity, steam, and swoon are all a part of Mallory and Cameron’s story, but, once again, what makes Catastrophe Queen romantic comedy gold is the one and only hot mess herself, Mallory Harper. Her playfulness, her wit, and her quirky musings and banter make this a laugh out loud read! 4 Poison Apples

Hart never fails to deliver an amazing story full of quirky characters that you can't help but love. Catastrophe Queen had me laughing out loud and falling in love at the same time. Cameron is sweet, sexy and had me swooning hard and falling for him from the start. Mallory is totally the kind of girl I could be friends with. And her family is an absolute hoot. When Mallory lands a job as Cameron's assistant she is sure she can keep things professional even if he is the hottest man she has ever seen. Can Cameron and Mallory keep their relationship professional or will love have its way with them? I highly recommend you pick this one up to find out. You won't be sorry I promise!
