From USA Today's bestselling author Terri Anne Browning's The Rocker... comes a New Adult novella series, The Lucy & Harris Novella Series.

So yeah, my dad is a rock star; he's the drummer for Demon's Wings. Big whoop. Honestly, the fame that comes with having a famous dad is not all that you think it might be. It sucks. You have no privacy. Oh yeah, and don't let me forget about the lunatics that want to do who knows what to you just to get famous. When I leave the house every morning I feel like my life isn't my own. Between the paparazzi, the fans, my bodyguard, and everything else I feel like I'm part of the freak show in the circus most days.

It wasn't always like this, though. I didn't always feel like this. Once upon a time I had a best friend who helped me deal with this life that we both belonged to.

So yeah, my dad is a rock star; he's the drummer for OtherWorld. And Lucy was and always will be the only girl to ever know the real me. She was my best friend, my voice of reason. My sanity. Maybe she outgrew me. But I will never outgrow her. It's been years since I've seen her, and I miss her so damn bad. All I want is a chance to get back what we've lost, to have my best friend in my life again.

I wasn't counting on how grown up my friend might have gotten, how beautiful she is now. The more time I spend with this new Lucy, I have to wonder if I really want that old friendship back...or if I want much, much more.

If you are a fan of Browning's Rocker series then you have already met Lucy and Harris. If not you can meet them here first. Childhood best friends, but can they be more? This is a great novella and will leave you anxiously waiting for the next installment! Happy Reading.

This is the story of Lucy & Harris they were best friends sharing a strong bond. They were both growing up in the limelight, being children of rock stars. Their relationship was always innocent and sweet, until Lucy hit puberty and started seeing her best friend as someone much more than a friend. Fearing that her childish crush would make him run for the hills she chose to be the one to cut ties. She began to pull away from Harris with no explanation of her distance. It’s been years since Lucy has seen Harris avoiding him at all costs. She receives an email one day, he's living his dream opened his own nightclub and he wants her to come see it. Lucy soon finds out maybe her heart isn't the only one in danger of being broken. Harris realizes quickly he's missed his best friend and he wants her now in an entirely different way. So glad we finally got Lucy and Harris story. In The Rocker Series, we were treated to small pieces of the connection these two share. Terri Anne Browning did such a great job developing these two young characters we could not help but want to know where the future would take them. This is a three part novella series with a full novel to tie it all up. I really loved this first installment, told in alternating POVs between Lucy and Harris. You can feel the angst they are both experiencing as they try to rebuild the friendship they once had, yet still trying to fight their growing attraction to each other. Both of them, fearing the other doesn’t feel the same way. Harris is sweet and sexy, when he shows his alpha male possessive side over Lucy it is reminiscent of the way the Demons and OtherWorld fellas act around their women. Harris proves to be just as jealous and fiercely protective as his rock star dad Devlin Cutter. Lucy is sometimes a bit annoying, but I cut her some slack because she’s young and a little foolish. She gets a bit judgmental with Harris a few times without getting the facts first. However, she is also a fiery, feisty chick like the rest of the women she has grown up with so I ended up really liking her anyway. Harrison’s devotion to Lucy after years of her ignoring him just warmed my heart. The background characters of their friends Kin and Jace were fantastic, I really want to know what’s up with those two hopefully we either get more about them in this series or in a series of their own I would be all over it. The story flowed nicely; it was a quick enjoyable read. I don’t want to give away too much because I hate spoilers, but I can say that you will definitely enjoy this sweet love story about soul mates and true love with a bit of young lust thrown in. If you are fan of The Rocker Series you will definitely enjoy this. If you haven’t read The Rocker Series I suggest you get it one of my favorites. I don’t think you need to read it though to understand this series it will just give you a better, fuller understanding of the tie of these two characters.

It is exactly what it is marketed as: a novella. So short and incomplete it only aggravates the fans. While getting a glimpse of the person Lucy and Harrison have become it pales in comparison to the fact there story is incomplete.

I loved Lucy and Harris. I am so glad to see that we are going to continue this story even if the characters didn't seem to be all that important when we were reading the rest of the rocker series. Terri Anne truly gave life to a new chapter in this series. I can't wait for this story to continue. Just when I think we are getting to the sad, sad, day when this series is going to end she surprises us and gives us new people to embrace

Not Sure of Lucy's Attitude!! This is the first book in the Lucy and Harris' story, and although I liked it, I cannot say that I loved it. I think the book could have started out a little better, but by the middle of the book the story started to come together. Lucy Thornton, who is the adopted daughter of Jesse (drummer for Demon's Wing)and Layla Thornton, who also happens to be Layla's and Lana's younger sister, used to be best friends with Harris Cutter, the son of Devlin Cutter, drummer for OtherWorld, but she hasn't seen him in four years, because she stopped speaking to him when she turned 12, after she developed a crush on Harris. Now it is four years later and Harris owns the hottest nightclub in LA. This is where the story of Lucy and Harris begins. Despite enjoying the book in the end, I have to say that I was not very fond of Lucy attitude. Lucy's attitude towards Harris made no sense. She was the one who stopped all communication with him, not the other way around. Throughout the entire book she kept making these awful assumptions about him and saying really awful things to him, but yet, he was the one who was being treated as though he had done something to her. Lucy's rudeness was being treated as feistiness, and I did not find it to be feisty, I thought it was rudeness for rudeness sake. I wanted to know what happened to the wonderful girl that we all came to love in the Rockers series. I understand that she had the awful incident with her biological father, but it was Harris who helped get her through it, and her treatment of him in this book was not kind at all. It was not his fault that she developed a crush on him. She was 12 and he was 16/17!!! Having said all that, I am looking forward to the next installment in the series, because I am truly looking forward to Jesse Thornton's reaction to everything that has happened between Lucy and Harris. I love Jesse!! I would also like to know more about the situation with Keni and Jace, because I do not believe that situation is as it seems.
