This is an enjoyable book with great characters with a warm loving family. I would love to see more stories about this family.

Great read! Adam came across in the beginning as a jerk so I was so glad that his character did a 360. I do wish the ending had a little more detail. It could have been stretched out a little more so that we the readers could have had more of an insight to their future.

Great characters, sexy scenes and great dialogue and at the heart of it is a sold family. An enjoyable read. Very much like the Harlequin Desire line. Enjoyed it!

One of my favorite sub-genres is enemies to lovers and this story has all the angst needed along with loads of sexy and romantic times. Adam is stubborn and controlling and has a cynical view of people and trust. Cassie is a fun loving but strong, independent trusting woman who loves her family and believes in the good of people. I smiled all the way through this story! A beautiful HEA that had me sighing with happiness.

The ending was AWFUL!!! It's like Chase decided to just stop writing!!! The premise was a wedding, so why couldn't we get 5-10 pages of descriptive sex, the two charecters coming downstairs after, and playfully confessing the pregnancy assumption to the family before their parents said their vows? Or she could have written an extra chapter or two where, sometime after the business retreat and the dinner blowup, that Cassie could learn or ar least SUSPECT she is pregnant. But unfortunately we didn't get closure at all. HOWEVER, there is so much tension and miscommunication between these two that the abrupt ending could be fixed with a SEQUEL one featuring their own wedding, a story with a lot of fumbling over words, firery arguments, and food. I hope the author sees this review and takes my idea under advisement, there was just something not quite right with the way things were left and as a reader I want them fixed, which is why I am only rating 4 stars.

This book is a decent read, but it's honestly the first romance where I don't believe in the happily ever after.  Adam and Cassie will definitely end up divorced, unless Adam undergoes some serious therapy.  I found myself rooting for him a couple of times, but in the end, I wanted her to kick him to the curb.  I mean, how can a woman love a man who clearly mistreats his mother.  He is a selfish and very flawed character.  When I finished the book, I felt sad for Cassie, having to deal with the dishonest situation he created with her family.  Poor Cassie, Adam  will revert to his crazy ways by controlling her, ignoring his mother, and creating havoc with her family.  When they finally get divorced, he will probably sue for custody of out spite.   Samantha  Chase, I will try your other books, because you are a good story teller, but you took Adam too far to be redeemed.
