About the Author

I’m 23 and live near Sheffield in South Yorkshire. I work as a part-time Events Safety Steward and at Wilko and write in between events. My stories tend to be short as i havent quite got the hang of describing things in great detail but my stories are improving with each attempt. I’ve self published my work on Amazon and will be doing the same on Smashwords. Please note: My books are romance and therefore probably not for everyone.

I really liked this story. I wish it was longer. This is the first book I have read by this auther. I'm looking forward to reading more from her.

I was given this novella in exchange for an honest review. With just a little more work, (more background, grammar & spelling checks), this could be a 5 star read. The story itself is great, but as a reader, we could use more background on the characters and plot. I enjoyed reading the book, and wish the author, Leanne Crabtree, luck with her future books. I look forward to reading more of her books.

What a smooth, exhilarating, quick read, especially for a novella.  Intrigue and plotting mix with murder and red hot romance to create an explosive combination.  I was thoroughly hooked throughout.  And speaking of explosive, the relationship that we find within was definitely that.  It went from frigid to searing in record time, but it works perfectly within the framework of the storyline and for the characters involved.   I was floored as to how developed the characters in this novella were.  None of the major players were the least bit superficial.  Personally I tend to prefer the indepth characters that you can only find in full length features but this one worked quite well.  You really get to see the intense inner turmoil that some of the characters go though.  You can actually feel it.   As a whole this isn’t just your typical shifter romance.  It was a brilliant way to get to know the author and I definitely can’t wait for more.   Please note that I received this novel free of charge from the author in exchange for an honest review.
