Suri was born

Suri Masterson was born in a small Texas town and is hardwired with a built in lie detector. Her talent for sniffing out lies makes her a little more curious and bit more protective of her family.

In the wee hours of the morning Suri's entire mind and body was invaded by an electrical current. Unable to identify the cause of the assault; and no clear understanding of the bizarre incident, she wondered if it was real, a dream or her overactive imagination. With too many questions and no believable answers, she begins her hunt for an explanation. Within a few days, she discovers that her ability to detect lies does not work on everyone, and the most important truth about her life was hidden by one remarkable lie.

When she starts her journey as a self-appointed, unpolished detective, she finds that she can suddenly do things that she could not do yesterday, intrigued, and getting a little too brave she takes on more than she can handle.

When the immortals who want to protect her are required to make themselves known, she finally learns that she is more than human. Astonished by her existence, she becomes, tangled in a web of convoluted turmoil. Where nightmares of monsters and creepy crawly things are more than a reality, they are breathtaking, enthralling and bitter sweet.
