"Do you ever wonder why this music gets you high?" inquires Justin Timberlake on "Pop," the bouncy opening track and first single from 'N Sync's much-hyped third disc, Celebrity. Well, the answer to that question is quite simple. 'N Sync's intoxicating mix of pop and R&B almost forces listeners to forget their troubles and get happy. Taking an if-it-ain't-broke-don't-fix-it approach, on Celebrity, Justin, JC, Lance, Chris, and Joey build upon the winning formula of seamless harmonizing, infectious songwriting, polished production, and pop star appeal that sent their previous discs, 'N Sync and No Strings Attached, racing up the charts. This time around, however, the Orlando boys kick their brand of "dirty pop" up a notch with the help of edgier producers such as club music remix king BT (the frenetic "Pop"), Brandy producer Rodney Jerkins (the hip-hop-tinged "Celebrity"), and the Neptunes (the break-beat punctuated "Girlfriend"), an Atlanta production crew who gave a well-deserved makeover to the Backstreet Boys single "The Call." Filling the requisite ballad quota with stirring efficiency are the breathtaking "Selfish," penned and produced by crooner Brian McKnight, and Timberlake's heart-tuggers "Gone" and "Something Like You." The only weak links are "Just Don't Tell Me That," which sounds too much like 'N Sync's mega-hit "Bye, Bye, Bye," and Max Martin's "Tell Me, Tell Me...Baby," which is similar to several singles the pop wunderkind wrote for the Backstreet Boys' Black and Blue. Those minor fumbles aside, with Celebrity, 'N Sync conclusively establish themselves as the charismatic kings of the boy bands. As the fellas rhetorically chime on the disc's sparse, harmony-driven closing track "Do Your Thing": "Are you doing your thing/And doin' it well/Are they lookin' at you hatin'/Saying Oooh." Why yes, indeed.

it's a smashing c.d. next time they should have a double c.d.one for the parties and then one for the screaming fans.

I don't have the cd, but I went to their Pop Oddessy tour and it was GREAT, and I have heard POP on the radio a million times...nsync is the greatest!!

I caught their 2001 Pop Odyessy Tour in Chicago. Concert was HUGE; stage set up, wardrobe, dancers, choreography. Last but not least the tracks from ''Celebrity''. I can't wait to buy it. ''GONE'' is the best ballad, Justin sings his heart out.

I really love 'NSYNC, and ever since they performed at my school in March, I've been hooked, and I don't intend to stop loving them EVER! And they got together themselves, unlike Backstreet Boys (who by the way totally SUCK!!!!), and they can sing and dance at the same time! And 'NSYNC is THE #1 group out there because they are on the #1 spot on MTV's TRL, ahead of sucky BSB! HA HA! And ya'll know they deserve it!

The latest of 'Nsync albums ''CELEBRITY'' is one of my new favorite ones of all to listen to, they rock, especially JC he's new hair is a good outlook of all positive things, they really set a new meaning to pop!!

The Nsync Celebrity album, I think, is a really, really, creative, and awesome new sound that Nsync presents. I especially love the song Pop, and the ending of it is even cooler than the whole song put together. But, I would like to say that even though I am an Nsync fan, I am disgusted at how they copy Michael Jackson, in their dance moves, and in their music. Michael Jackson should deserve more credit, if they're going to continue and use him as an ''influence'' in their music. I might add, MJ first created the sound that you hear in the ending of Pop. Over all, I think that this CD is the best out of all of Nsync's four albums. If you are an Nsync or Michael Jackson fan and would like to have an online ''friend'' to chat with about them, feel free to mail me>> my e-mail addie is above ^ :)

This album is awesome! I just bought it today and it is a little more edgy than the last album, and I really like it. I think it is an album everyone can enjoy, even if they won't admit to it. I hope they continue to put out albums, so everyone can keep enjoying thier music.

Even though the CD has not come out yet the songs on it rock. Celebrity is going to be one of the best CD's of the year. Besides ''Pop'' the best song in my opinion is ''The Two of Us'' the lyrics and melody are so pretty.

NEVER! Well that's how N Sync want to see it. You take five good looking guys who can sing and dance, and create musical harmony with songs the break barriers and go beyond the limits you get N Sync. As they have progressed they have always one upted other boy bands. With Celebrity it is no different. I suggest you all get this, it will not be a disappointment!

*NSync's new Cd ''Celebrity'' is going to be a HUGE HIT!!! Even though I haven't heard any other songs besides ''PoP'' I know that the others are #1 songs too. These guys are great.....and I can't wait to see them in concert and have their new album. I will be the first one in line to get it when it comes out.

Basically,'Nsync combined many musical styles. Such as: ''pop'', ''R&B'' and ''hip-hop''. They created this album so that the Fans could apprecate what they have came up with for their fourth album. They're said to be the most successful ''Boy Band''.

so is anyone else sick of seeing the usual-'oh my god these boys are hot-i love you justin. and they can like dance and sing at the same time.' How could you insult them like that? You are doing a review for their MUSIC not their BODIES. How can you look past the feeling they put into their music? I mean, I'm not saying that they're not gorgeous. But I'm saying that they have truly amazing voices and the songs they write, co-produce, pick out, WHATEVER are absolutely amazing. Try and not sound SO teeny-ish.

I went to their concert on the sixth of July and I was totally blown away. The guys put all they had into it and really gave the crowd an awesome show. Its like the guys give whatever emotions they are feeling when they are singing a song and just transport them to you. You can feel it, it is absolutey amazing. At the concert I just couldn't get over how proud I was of them. They have come so far and been through a lot. The new songs rock and I even cried when they preformed ''Gone''. As for the CD I know it will do just fine. We all are gonna go out and buy it, aren't we? I am, I have already pre-ordered it, and I can't wait. Everyone go and vote for the guys on mtv.com and get them at number one where they belong! i luv jrt!
