I have big issues with silly, immature heroines. Skyla made dumb decision after dumb decision. Maybe the maturity level was just too low for me. The way she acted with Logan drove me crazy. How she was when they JUST met and when he did things that would and should make a normal person mad. I wanted to yell to her several times to get some self respect. My heroines have to be likable and strong or it ruins the story for me. Having said all that, I do see promise with the story. And I do think the author has talent. I give it 3.5 stars.

I saw that the first two books in this series was free. So I decided to check it out. I am so glad I did. The book was written well, there was very little language. There is sex between the characters, but no real details good for YA I was hooked from the very beginning. The mystery of why Skyla and Logan are so "alike". The banter between  all the characters. The frustration of not having your mother and the evil stepfather help you. What happens  when you find out you can time travel, heal people, and oh, yea, have a whole clan of Counts after you?  It breaks my heart the way Skyla feels like she is in the middle of a huge nightmare, and that the one person she wants to count on, won't address her in public. He also won't help guide her until it is almost to late. Then There is Marshall. Man I can't stand that guy. Can Skyla figure out who she is and what needs to be done or will she sacrifice herself to save everyone else. If you are looking for a series that keeps you guessing, look no further. I cannot wait to read book 3.

Two of my favorite books ever all wrapped up in one. I love how Addison writes. You get pulled in from the first sentence. I was immediately engrossed in Skyla's journey and couldn't stop reading (AT ALL). Talk about pulling all nighters. ¿ started rooting for Skyla and Logan from their first meeting. A definite must read for anyone who loves YA books, Paranormal or just looking for something new and fresh.

I have never read this authors paranormal ya books till after I read her na books. I have to say that this author has the great ability to write in just about any genre. She has the ability to capture her audience and hold them captive from cover to cover and never let them go then they are salivating for the next book in either the series or grabbing and starting another series. Her characters all seem to be well thought out and fully developed the reader can't help but fall in love with them and getting vested in the storyline. I never realized how many books that she had out and such a wide variety to hit upon each person's taste. Her covers are so amazing and wonderful myself that is what first captures me, blurbs are not something that hits me first. I love how the author is able to add and solve love triangles making them so interesting. I love a fast paced and extremely self absorbed read and highly recommend this for readers of all ages. I can't wait to read more books in this series and definitely more from this author. I also love how the first book of her series is free so it enables new readers to try her work and get addicted.
