About the Author
Sam McBratney was a teacher for many years and is now a successful author. He is best-known for his picture book Guess How Much I Love You, which was an international success. In 1996 he won the prestigious Book of the Year award presented by the American Booksellers Association, and he has also won the Bass Ireland Arts Prize.

I really enjoyed reading these myths, it was a great blend of stories that were a good length for bedtime stories. I wasn't a huge fan of the illustrations, though, so I'll be looking around for another set before I decide which one to buy.
