Detective Scarlet Reid has spent the past three months trying to make her alter ego, Ms. December, a ghost of Christmas past. Forced to become the sexy centerfold in a high-stakes undercover assignment, she's spent more time pulling copies of her naked butt off the bulletin boards at the precinct than she has collaring criminals-and it's far from over.
A deadly agenda. A gruesome new case has revealed a disturbing trend-one that has placed Scarlet on a list of possible targets. With limited options, she's going to have to resurrect Ms. December-and her old partnership-which means facing the one man who stole more than just a kiss.
A love worth fighting for. Federal Agent Roman Kinkaid has some explaining to do. His final assignment with Scarlet changed him, and he's been running from her ever since. But he's ready to make things right-only he's not alone. His partner and lover, Special Agent Aiden Cross, is just as invested and determined as Roman is to claim Scarlet as theirs. And they aren't taking no for an answer, especially when their souls-and Scarlet's life-are on the line.
They have three weeks to catch the stalker before Scarlet's time runs out and they lose their one chance at a happy ending.

Kris Norris hangs with some other authors I follow. So I have name recognition and when I saw this come up for review, I thought it was past time I checked out her books. I have since found I have several of her titles on my “to be read” list. After all, she does hang with other authors I know I have read and has done collections and series with them. Makes sense. I am very glad I have finally read one of her books. Centerfold – loved it! An undercover cop who can actually pull off being a centerfold – Ms December – for a men’s magazine. (Shades of Miss Congeniality?) Of course the guys back at the precinct aren’t going to let her live it down, but it got the job done. She brought down the drug dealer and his supplier. Detective Scarlet Reid. With a name like Scarlet, I am sure the guys haven’t been ragging on her anyway. But she is a good cop and knows her job. Okay, so she fell in love with her partner, Roman Kincaid. That happens when they send so much time together. (Castle?) Too bad he fell for mutual friend Special Agent Aiden Cross and decided to join him at the FBI. It may not have hurt so badly if he hadn’t done it right after she got shot saving his life while bringing down the drug dealer, or even if he had said something about it. But he just left, leaving her to recuperate alone and feeling abandoned. Now someone is killing the other centerfolds, all across the country, in a very violent and bloody way. Not only is her name on the list, but they need to bring this killer down before he can kill any more of the girls. So back undercover she goes with, not only with Roman as her partner and backup, but Aiden too. Can we pronounce ménage? The mansion where everyone is congregating – shades of a very kinky Hugh Hefner. *grin* Things are rather interesting there. Next word of the day – voyeurism. I like crime dramas. I have mentioned that before. Centerfold was actually a pretty good crime drama. There was bloody murder and mayhem. Action. Suspense. Few clues. Fewer breaks. Everything comes down to a heart stopping climax with the murderer (You will be surprised who it is.) holding a knife at the next victim’s throat. OMG! Good drama. Throw in the kinky sex, and well . . . this about covers all the bases. Law & Order meets Miss Congeniality meets Hugh Hefner meets ménage and more. Like some kinky sex with your crime drama? You will enjoy this. I will be reading more of Kris Norris. I was provided a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
FiveStars Scarlet, Roman and Aiden are a very HOT trio. I really enjoyed Scarlet’s sassy attitude – she was tough, but soft at the same time. She knew how to take care of herself and was able to play with the best of them. This had great twists and turns – I loved the mystery within the story. It helped create more depth to each of the characters. While I didn’t really like Roman all that much, in the end, I forgave him. I liked how Roman and Scarlet’s chemistry ebbed and flowed like a normal relationship. I wish I knew more about Aiden, but overall, these characters meshed well together. This book combined what I love reading: Sex, Mystery and a happy ending. I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads. AvidReader
